Flashback ( 1/?) - McJoce
Ah, the tiredness radiated off of both of them in waves, but Joce couldnât have looked better. He couldnât get enough of seeing her like this. Messy haired, comfortable clothes - best of all, smiling easily at him. It took awhile for her to lower defenses like this around him, and Leo felt so damn privileged. âAh, I see what this is,â he said, seeing the books go away. He looked at her, knowingly - she wanted a distraction from something, and Leonard knew he was it. Hell, he didnât mind. âWell, I gotta get a good look at it, first,â he smiled, âYou know, completely âpracticalâ as you say, Ms. Jocelyn,â he said, leaning in, before surprising her by pulling her playfully onto his lap. âItâs in the throat, actually.â He leaned back heavily into the coach, looking up at her, enjoying having his hands on her hips, her thighs on either side of his, getting a good view. âTell me something in that gibberish of yours, and I will give ya a diagnosis. Howâs that for studyinâ?â
Jocelyn laughed in surprise, the barely contained giggles finally spilling over as she fell into his lap. Placing her hands on each of his shoulders she braced herself against him and cocked her head, her hair now falling across her face.
âI happen to have quite a nice throat.â She informed him. âNot at all like the gory ones in your books.â She tossed her head to get the hair from her face. He could read her like a book. And distraction was exactly what she wanted.Â
âNow that,â she paused for effect, âsounds like an effective study method.â She thought for a moment, chewing on several phrases while enjoying the firmness of his hands on her hips, his eyes pouring over her.Â
âYaasari farakall mek-McCoy.â She smiled and it reached her eyes.Â
