“The sadness will last forever” - suicide letter by Vincent Van Gogh
*i got to shoot a couple of pics w/ CHB last year. it was chill.
Chris, aka Brent Faiyaz (chi-town snapback), finally dropped his LP entitled Sunset Avenue. It was something I’ve never heard from anyone in the hoco area, period - but let’s remove him from the classic banal impediments hoco likes to place on its artists. he’s passed that. it might be safe to say that for the competition at his age, he’s released one of the better LPs in MD. when asked about the meaning behind his LP, he said, “Sunset is the concept of time and Avenue is the idea of direction. When you’re on Sunset Ave, you’re at a certain point when things are coming to an end and you’re making crucial decisions regarding your future, relationships, etcetera.” He said it’s his decision to stay knee deep in this music game regardless of the trials & tribulations, & him and the entire CHB squadron have got my support. Speaking of CHB, don’t sleep on Tre’ Nicks (all red snapback) or Astro Haze (grey hoodie). all of em’ are grinding hard & making efficacious statements musically. Stream Sunset Avenue HERE.
