       eyes which were akin to sapphires peered into the bassinet while the tiny princess slept. the last thing victoria wished for was to wake the child, god himself knew rest would be needed on all parts, but she still found herself in awe. it was true that some of the pain of child birth was forgotten once the child was born, yet victoria found the memory of that pain to be replaced with fear; an irrational fear of anything happening to the child and the premature dread that one day she must part with her.

There are hardly words for the pure happiness he feels, standing beside his wife as they watch her namesake sleeping.
