Drdt chapter 2 part 2 spoilers

Idk if people still say it but I remember when the episode talking about Nico planning Ace’s murder in chapter 2 part 2 came out people said “I hope Rose forgives Nico” or “I hope Nico apologizes to Rose”

Also not pertaining to the episode I remember people saying “I hope Ace and Nico make up”

I feel like people are undermining the fact that Nico attempted to full on kill Ace. They planned this. Rose doesn’t need to forgive them. No amount of apologies will change the fact that Nico used Rose to attempt murder. Honestly I feel bad for her because she thought she was just hanging out with Nico but she really got used for murder and had the murder attempt been successful I doubt she would forgive herself especially in the state she is currently in.

Also Nico and Ace most likely would never make up just because of everything that had already been done. Yes Ik Ace is dead now and they can’t make up BUT THATS NOT THE POINT RN. The damage was already done. Ace was thisssss close to outing Nico if David hadn’t stepped in (and mind you he knew what their secret meant in fact was the only one who knew what it meant) Also NICO TRIED TO KILL HIM like it’s a little hard to just forgive someone after that your not just gonna be cordial after that. Also with Ace’s untrusting and aggressive personality and Nico’s pure just bluntness I don’t even know if either of them would ever give a formal apology.

Even though that Ace now is dead I don’t think Nico’s now just gonna be like “oh if forgive him” like even if Ace did good with trying to save Levi before he died he still bullied Nico, Killed Arei and tried to frame it on Nico, and Didn’t do anything for Nico before he died. Nico called Levi “heartless” and also said they don’t trust anybody there. So why would Ace doing something for Levi change their feeling towards him at all. Nico already is gonna deal with so much after trial two I doubt forgive Ace after all that will even cross their mind.

BUT I COULD BE WRONG THIS IS LITERALLY JUST A RANT ABT MY THOUGHTS SOMETHING COULD CHANGE IN THE FUTURE AND THIGNS COULD HAPPEN TO DEBUNK WHAT IM SAYING SO DONT QUOTE ME OR EVEN LISTEN TO ME ON ANYTHING I JUST LIKE TALKING

Has it never once occurred to anyone that fans are well aware that these shitty men are indeed shitty, and when they call them “silly soft uwu babies” and claim that they have done nothing wrong, they might be JOKING? You know, the say way people constantly joke about the flawed women “being perfect” and “having done nothing wrong?” The same way Veronika gets called “silly” despite how awful she’s becoming? The same way people joke about the male characters getting SLAUGHTERED by the female characters? Unless they’re actually being serious about these, which I hope not.

People were calling out Ace fans for “hating” on Eden because she wasn’t the Chapter 2 killer, but I’m confident if Eden WAS the killer, they would be WITCH HUNTING Ace and then claim they’re not serious and just coping because they “lost another girlkisser 😔😢”

Not saying that AREN’T some weirdos about the male characters (I was in the Undertale fandom lol). But surely it’s not serious.

Tl:dr - “He’s just a silly little guy” is just the man equivalent of “God forbid women do anything” and I see no reason why we can’t both have these at the same time.
