the informant , the weaponsmith , the athlete , the protรฉgรฉ , the diplomat , the found family descriptions below
the informant. one of the most valuable things in the universe has always been information. those who possess it hold all the cards. while sabine doesn't desire to hold the whole deck , she feels safer with an ace up her sleeve. the informant is that ace , sending ( or selling ) her relevant intel and ensuring the lone mandalorian is never caught unaware.
the weaponsmith. the only person besides herself sabine trusts with her weapons. the one she goes to for specialized parts she can't find and repairs she can't do herself. though beskar armor is still off limits, their skills are so valued that she will travel far and wide to seek their services โ-- even if they still sound like bitter enemies when haggling about the price.
the athlete. skilled at a sport that sabine likes and always up for a friendly competition or day of skill drills. they are a cherished reprieve from the daily droll. maybe they started off as rivals , perhaps they were fast friends. what matters now is that they always answer each other's call for a good day of fun.
the protรฉgรฉ. looks up to her as a commander, a warrior, or artist. wants to be sabine's student despite her consistently insisting she isn't a teacher. still... they stick around and she doesn't make them leave. they do in fact learn. maybe not everything they want and certainly not through anything even remotely resembling traditional teaching methods, but they learn !
the diplomat. the republic diplomat that sabine constantly buts heads with, not necessarily because the two disagree on what action to take. they want to do things by the book. sabine insists that's too much red tape. it takes too long. why wait to help people? yet invariably when sabine pushes too far, breaks too many rules, the diplomate does what they can to speak up in her favor and shield her from harsh consequences.
the found family. a bond thicker than blood for it has been forged in fire. these are the people sabine trusts with her life and those she would risk her life to protect. those that have seen the best and the worst of her and stuck around regardless. * there is absolutely no limit to how many found family members i will accept for sabine. gimme all of them !

this is all from the failed rpg she's originally from so i gotta rework things a little but i loved this aesthetic and these graphics for her. really set the mood for her character.

full disclosure : i'm not familiar with sinjir so this is coming from a quick skim of sw wiki i apologize in advance if i mischaracterize him. still ! we'll throw some ideas at the wall and see what sticks. surely they'll be something to work with.
for some reason, my brain went straight to a 10 degrees of separation thing , but with mon mothma. i'm guessing sinjir may be more likely to know of sabine that she is of him. maybe via her connections to the organas , ahsoka , and hera. maybe because of some ridiculous stunt she pulled. she does work her way up to commander at some point though so maybe they could work together on something or know each other that way ? idk. i'm spitballing here.
imperial defectors unite ! that's it. that's the whole idea.
something related to the black sun , maybe ? sabine worked with them enough during her bounty hunter days to know understand their m.o. pretty well , was friends with two members , and would probably recognize others or some of their signals / codes. perhaps their paths cross in the midst of his investigation into the black sun and red key ? add our own little retcon to establish a connection that way.
i feel like there have to have been multiple times after sabine stations herself on lothal that people sought her out and tried to convince her to join x,y,z effort. idk what that effort might be for sinjir, but that's always an option. doubt he'll have much success. he's welcome to try tho !
alternatively , for something closer to the latest developments in sabine's life ( i.e. being trapped on peridea ) until we get s2 of ahsoka , i'm gonna say sabine and ahsoka use the purrgil to return from the exoplanet. i imagine the two returning from the edges of space is quite the talk of the town so that could provide an opening to shove them together somehow. maybe some moderate - grand celebration in honor of ezra ( and ahsoka / sabine ) returning. she'd hate it. ahsoka and hera all but drag her there. she spends the entire time trying to avoid the spotlight , hiding in a corner eating snacks or something.
and for something a little different : wookiees. wookiees helped sabine out a lot after she escaped the imperial academy. she feels she owes them a debt. let's say through the rebel grapevine she hears that sinjir helped some wookiees. i can see her seeking him out to ask after them , are they okay ? , do they need anything ? , etc.
