Open starter: to everyone Location: Along the boardwalk

Walking along the boardwalk, Milo had been zigzagging between people as he was getting overly excited at the crowd. “Easy Milo, you’re going to rip my arm off.” She called to him who was quick to freeze in his place and wait up for Alex to match his pace. it was a hot day and knew that her dog was going to get thirsty eventually as they made their way further onto the boardwalk. The breeze was slightly helpful to cool them down a bit but it wasn’t enough. As they came to a stop to give Milo some water, she knelt down to feed him some when the next thing she knew, a bucket was dumped on the both of them. She knelt there in shock before processing what had happened. “Really?” She called out before letting out at sigh. She looked at Milo who then shook the water off him and onto her. “Thanks Milo.” She wouldn’t have cared as much if she had worn her bathing suit under but that was not the case today. She was drenched in cold water and nothing to dry herself with. “That’s just great.” she muttered. 

One of the many things Jackie loved about summer was how lively the city was, there was always something to do. It seemed simple but she loved to just walk around and see where the day would lead her. And today it led to the boardwalk, joyed that there seemed to be so many things to do. While looking around though she spotted someone being splashed with water, causing her to gasp. Luckily there was a towel by her, hanging on the pier, she grabbed it and rushed over. “I don’t think anyone will mind you borrowing this.” A friendly smile on her face, “are you alright? It is never fun to be surprised like that. You could even take my shirt too, I have a tank on under.”

open starter! location: coney island cookout, at the karaoke station

     Well, he’d be lying if he said this wasn’t the first time he got pressured into getting out of his comfort zone by his kids. Reuven was not much of a singer. In fact, he sounded downright awful, but he simply couldn’t say no to his little boy when Ezra begged to sing together. It was going to be cute and wholesome and fun, but then last minute the toddler chickened out and ran back to his older sister in the crowd, giggling with nerves. Reuven chortled, and then glanced over at the waiting lyrics on the screen. It was a duet, so he pointed the microphone at the audience, asking for any takers. “I’d sing it alone, but I think it might give everyone a headache,” he joked into the microphone. Relieved that someone volunteered quickly, he beamed at them as they joined in front of the microphone stand. “Ah! My savior! Thank you! I was just about to—” but he couldn’t finish his sentence, because the lyrics started rolling, and the background tune of Bohemian Rhapsody began. “Oh? Oh! …real life, or is this just fantasyyyy…” he began uncertainly, uncharacteristically shy, and glancing to his singing partner in casual apology and for reassurance.

Music had always been such a big part of her life in some form or another, it always caught her attention no matter where she was. It was no different at this cookout either, she had event sat through a few songs already. Humming along and trying to be each persons biggest cheerleader. So when Reuven asked for someone to join him she jumped right up. “Amazing song choice! A true classic. P” When the song started she nudged his shoulder, “caught in a landslide, no escape from reality…” even doing a cheesy little sway for landslide, trying her best to get a smile out of him. “Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see.” Whenever she did karaoke she always made sure to have fun, throwing in little dance moves here and there.

location: coney island cookout - s’mores station 

After a great attempt at volleyball Jackie was trying to find some kind of snack, a reward of sorts. The day got even better when she saw a whole station for her favorite sweet treat. Quite determined to make a perfect one, over the years she’s got it down to a science. While trying to get everything together she glanced up and smiled at the person next to her. “Oh now you need at least one more piece of chocolate on there, treat yourself!” Jackie encouraged to the friendly face next to her, “it isn’t often you run into a whole s’more’s station.”

Not everyone can say they’ve been to the Big Apple, but  [JACKIE ROBERTS], a [28] year-old [FEMALE] has lived in [MANHATTAN] for [HER WHOLE LIFE]. This is the city of dreams and [ SHE/HER ] knows it, because they came to NYC to be a/n [CHOREOGRAPHER]. Living in the city means they meet all kinds of people, but everyone always seems to think they look like [MADELAINE PETSCH]. They even got away with free cab fare once because of  it

Her story… Since Jackie was young she radiated joy and compassion, doing anything she could to put a smile on someone’s face. Being able to do something as simple as that would always bring her endless amounts of joy. In her eyes she felt like everyone deserved a chance to be reminded of their traits that may just be overlooked. This lead to her being able to make friends or to charm just about anyone she meets.

As she got older not only was she kind and charming, she became quite adventurous. She was curious about the world and the people around her. This lead to Jackie going to quite a few parties and not making the best decisions or mixing with the best people. Some weekends she would go anywhere she could just to have a good time and forget any responsibilities she had. Luckily enough her parents never found out about this. Jackie felt like they didn’t need to worry about their perfect daughter breaking a few rules. They had enough on their plate and she loved being the apple of their eyes.

Apart from always wanting to have fun one thing that always brought her back to earth was dancing. She performed in shows, took part in pageants when she was younger and even got to the point where she would teach dance classes at a local dance studio. Jackie had done everything from  jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, and even dipped her toe in break dancing just name a type of dance and she has probably done it. It all started when she was four years old when her parents signed her up for ballet classes eafter she was positive she wanted to become a ballerina.

  Jackie has a family who had a passion for performing on her mothers and fathers side. Her mother side full of actors and actresses on Broadway and the screen, her fathers family running a theatre for three generations in New York City.  So when it came to going to college she knew she wanted to study dance. Even getting accepted into her dream school, Juilliard.

While she was in school she discovered her passion for choreography and teaching. Taking any chance she could to get the experience that she needed, any chance to make more of a name for herself. She'd teach classes, upload videos just to get herself out there, she started to gain quite a following. When she finally graduated she got several opportunities to choreograph concerts, shows or even music videos for several artists or bands.
