— He blinked several times, quickly, out of surprise. For him, his birthday was just another day, no need to celebrate. But to see who he could finally consider his mother remember him and offer him a gift, he felt like whatever was missing in his chest seemed to have worked again. Even if it was just the feeling and there was really nothing there. It made him happy.

❝ There's no need to celebrate this but... Thank you, mother. A tea would be nice too. ❞ He replied, with a slight smile, while he looked at his new kendama toy. He saw them before when he was in Tatarasuna, but never played with one. It looked like today was his lucky day to try it finally.
