The 2017 Belgian Waffle ride passed through San Elijo Hills Sunday on the Copper Creek and Garden trails and summited Double Peak before finishing in San Marcos. Some of the top finishers had just completed The Amgen Tour of California! The Waffle is 130 +\~ miles, 40 of which are in dirt. 13,000 feet of climbing. The Wafer is 80'ish miles, 18 of which are in dirt. 7,000 feet of climbing.
