"Our Sensei Ninja Turtle" Masterpost

Hello! this is my OSNT au masterpost where i shall organize my chaos! to anyone who is just finding this, ill give u a little overveiw of the universe ive created:

Leonardo is supposed to be dead. the rest of his family is dead. His brothers, his father, his sister... He failed over and over and they were the ones who paid for it. so he did the right thing, sending Casey back to that dreaded day to stop the Kraang invasion with leo staying behind to be sure his kid got through. and to maybe finally find some sort of peace away from the broken world he created.

But Leonardo is not dead. He wakes up in the hidden city of all places, untouched by the kraang and full of life he never thought he'd have the privilege to see again. and on top of that, he happens to stumble across four small turtle mutants. And maybe hes just finally lost it, but hes preeetty sure he somehow transported himself to an alternate reality of his world where some things are the same while others a vastly different. This is what happens when you listen to enough of Donnie's theoretical monologues, you start to think up some crazy conclusions.

So, the tests are from Big Mama, duh

That’s the Battle Nexus symbol thing that Raph has (not sure exactly what it means yet) and also Spiders. I can assume that this version of Tigerclaw (or whoever the tiger person that’s training Raph is) is going to show up, given this:

But what are the tests exactly…

Ok, so there’s some typical science stuff, as well as… mystics? So guessing that they’re testing Mikey’s (?) mystic prowess, interesting…. Also, Raph is isolated for the tests, implying that they were actively trying to bring out Savage Raph. Which would make sense, given that Savage Raph would be a more vicious fighter, and therefore better for Big Mama.

Raph also mentions ‘weird questions’… so I’m thinking that this probably has something to do with the fact that the turtles are mutants and made to be weapons of war, and are (supposedly) the only ones of their kind. This would be VERY interesting to Big Mama, given A: her interest in mutants in the actual show, and B: they’re literally living weapons, of COURSE she’d want them in her Battle Nexus. There’s also the question of whether or not she knows that they were made with Lou Jitsu’s DNA, assuming she had the same or a similar relationship to Lou. My guess is ‘inspection day’ is so that Big Mama can experiment on the turtles, who don’t really know what’s going on, probably to figure out how to recreate them, control them, make them stronger, or just to understand them (though that one is the least likely).

Anyway I really liked all the little details in the background of that one shot it was cool :D and no one else seemed to mention it
