"May 2, 20XX, LOG 1, there's been an outbreak due to spores and nobody really knows the reason for the outbreak. Currently, I'm researching why this is happening and what's the source and how it affects others. I've figured out that the person is conscious, just unable to control themselves, they can also release spores that will infect others. They're very intelligent and can hide as normal humans, there's some small imperfections but if you touch one, you'll become one. If you hear knocking on a window or door, do not open it or be in sight." Alexander sighed slightly as he closed his journal and put down his pen. He was alone and he heard soft knocking from the door, he immediately froze as he grabbed his bat and hid. He waited for a moment until the door broke. He knew he would have to kill it or he would turn into one, so he took a swing until he heard a voice.

???: WAIT!

Alexander quickly looked at who it was and saw it was John Laurens, Alexander sighed in relief before realizing, John has blue eyes but this one has green. Before Alexander could react, someone shot the fake. John then spoke to himself;

Alexander: Well, that was weird.

John: It certainly was.

The real John spoke, which Alexander was happy so he quickly hugged John, the two had a reunion after months of being alone.
