Did you know, you can eat the buds of spruce trees? They are tender and really nice on their own. I collected some of these young bright green buds in early spring and they have maintained their beauty through Summer in my refrigerator. I decided to utilize them in a Salad for a lunch gathering 🤗💕 Chopped and shredded cabbage 🥕Grated carrots Peeled apples 🌲Chopped handful or two of young buds 🍋Lemon juice Salt Pepper 🌱Thyme That’s it! Stir it up a few times Happy Summer 💙
