Supporters and Friends, We are sad to share this piece of information, due to certain events and our location being foreclosed the Epoxy project will no longer exist. We have been grateful for being able to maintain this project within our manifesto by using a completely free space in Tampa Bay and staying true to our ideology of the space being a 'cross-platform' structure. The show that was supposed to open Friday, September 5 is canceled as well, we will be closed. We all truly loved working with First Fridays in Seminole Heights and all the affiliated galleries, and will miss it dearly. This was so fun while it lasted! Epoxy presents two Tampa-based artists who have been collaborating within a DIY music scene for a few years. In their teens they met at a record shop called 'Sound Idea' which was surrounded by Brandon/Valrico suburbia. Since then they've been having a continuous conversation that has been conceived through varies punk, experimental and rock bands. The work in this show are similar by choice of collaged material but different with the use of composition and execution. Obviously two different styles are noticed but one will take note how they blend well in the same space. Join us as David and Carson invite the viewer to their relationship as friends, artists and collaborators. Opening for one night only and affiliated with FFSH, Friday September 5, 2014 7-11pm

EPOXY presents Unadorned, a sensible collection of imagery referencing mysticism and dream analysis. We have paired two artists who work similar with materials pen and ink and application using a thin delicate line. Both artists illustrate images that attempt to map mental and spiritual pathways similar to the faces of tarot cards, but both differ with their objective. Featuring JP Marra who works within a simple format appropriating mystic icons to create a 'tongue-in-cheek' obsession with a dark-wave culture. Also works by Katie O'Gorman who is sincere using her own dreams dating all the way from her childhood. The memory of her dreams is a rarity due to the attention to detail which translates within the drawings. O'Gormans approach to depicting these illusive scenarios is a way to quantitatively study the meaning of dreams. These drawings are a gateway to self reflection and furthers the conversation of symbolism as a language for the self. Join us in conjunction with First Friday in Seminole Heights, August 1st, 6 - 10 pm.

Epoxy presents PORTAL; a phenomena obsessed by two artists from the Bay area with similar interests in abstract landscapes and forms representing the natural world. Showing a new body of work and mural by Charles Sommer. Graphite drawings meticulously rendered of organic forms surrounded by repetitive patterns that either merge or face black or white portals. They will be surrounded by a mural similar to the environment the organic forms reside in the drawings. One can reflect on the unidentifiable creation of natural forms in the same presence as the infinite galaxy pool or as one would say, the black hole. Also featuring works by Kasey Lou Lindley who draws from similar terms dealing with patterns in nature and questioning the idea of the “natural’, what exactly is it? She will be revisiting a process from a body of work during her undergrad where a section of the wall appears to be peeling parts of an image. This is a way for her to create a space into an organic form and become flexible, mimicking the ‘natural’. She will also be including digital prints from her Interscape series, similar in nature to Sommer’s work where the micro and macro phenomena are apparent as their inspiration. Join us Saturday July 12th between 7pm - 11pm and experience these two artists paralleling their curiosity about the cosmos.

Epoxy presents the third INCOGNITOS performance series featuring three acts on their "le tur de friends' tour starting in Boston, MA. Join us on Tuesday, June 24th starting at 8:00 pm to hear music by couples counseling, pariuh , *JuJu Sigh* and Fishwife for Tampa represent. Donations highly recommended as these acts have been traveling a long way.

Epoxy presents, Demos Oneiroi, a show that is thematically divided between its interior and exterior spaces. Inside the gallery space proper, Pia Love-Toribio creates a lucid phantasmagoria through which she explores a personal symbology of simple geometric forms. Outside the gallery, Andrea Williams creates an artificial "remoteness" for participating audience members in which she plays with the concept of oracular self-knowledge. The works are united in their attempt to serve as a portal to something beyond the socially-conditioned bounds of experienced reality. Please join us Friday May 30th 2014, between 7pm - 10 pm and also June 6 for the FFSH between 6pm-10 pm.

"Demos Oneiroi is a multimedia installation concerned with the variegated structure of transcendence. Demos Oneiroi takes as its foundation an intractable phenomenological ennui, a self-bored circular hermeneutics and a persistent dryness around the cuticles. Demos Oneiroi is implanted in the dank ground of an unnamed swamp and is passing the time inventing games of self-estrangement to be played out among the strip-malls. Demos Oneiroi is searching for desire in the mire."

EPOXY presents a day time exhibition to fill the space with natural light. A new series of photographs by Ariana Dominguez and large scale watercolor portraits by Sarah Valdez. The Nurturing Eye showcases glimpses of the observers’ eye nurturing their subject matter through their creative processes and materials. Please join us on a sunny Florida day on Saturday, April 19, 2014 between 2 to 6 PM.

EPOXY, presents Narrative Conscious a gateway to a world of figures surrounded by fantastical depictions of memories and desires. The spectator will become an ephemeral verb as they manifest within this caricature dimension. Showcasing works by Yanuary Navarro and an installation by Jujmo. Both artists illustrate various narratives that translate brief moments in time with vivid color and illusive cartoon depictions that will transform the EPOXY space into an imaginary environment. Join us on Friday, May 2nd between 6 to 10 PM for their opening.

EPOXY presents 'Prognosis:Negative', an opened case full of satirical puns. Nathan Freda shows a range of hand sewed felt sculptures ironically mimicking sharp objects and his trophy hunting displays of cute stuffed animals. Also works by Chase Sherman reusing personal trash materials with drawings on top referencing retaliative counter culture stories, images or mundane objects that are appropriated with a dark humor. Please join us for the opening reception Friday, March 28th and the closing with the Seminole Heights First Friday's on April 4th 6-10 pm.

EPOXY presents, The Siren, an exhibition combining two artists from Tampa,FL who both are influenced by mythic creatures and cartoons from their childhood. Showcasing mummified mermaids, preserved by varies taxidermy techniques by Justin Arnold and drawings of satirical creepy but cute pop culture referenced characters by Jenyffer Maria.
