The day had finally come.

Nova stood at the entrance to the summer camp, tightly holding her travel bags. She had been there for almost five minutes, humming lowly and staring at the forest.

"I guess it's time..."

Apparently, she had been put in the same cabin as someone called "Ash". She'd have to ask for how to get there... And try to learn the layout of the campsite, too.

Anyways, she stepped into the camp.

So far, the people who have arrived at camp are pretty much the same few people that come every year (...Saparata included, of course), so he's just going through the motions.

It's a sweet smile, a polite nod-slash-bow or a wave if he knows them, and a quick hello.

So when Nova approaches the entrance, Saparata beams at her, and. Ah— "Oh!" He doesn't recognize this face at all. He tilts his head to the side in mock contemplation. "Huh, I don't think I've seen you around before. Hi! Nice to meet you!"

"Oh- uhh- hi! Yeah it's normal... I haven't ever come here... I'm Nova. And. Well. I'm kinda lost right now..."

"Oh, that makes sense. You're new, huh? Hi, I'm Silas Saparata." He winces a bit at that. "...Or just call me Saps. Definitely just call me Saps."

The fact that Nova's new makes him seem a bit more excited. He wants to jump onto the idea of helping her, and maybe get a vote out of it. (Fresh meat, basically.) Saparata beams.

"Lost, huh? I can show you around, unless you're looking for anything in specific?"
