Iâm putting this blog on Hiatus for the next 3 weeks. I have serious exams coming up and tons of work to do. Iâd love to be on here more often but I canât make any promises. My activity will be sporadic at best but I intend to come back as soon as exams are over. See you soon <3
And when I said âIâm afraid that Iâll ruin you,â I meant âIâm afraid youâll ruin me, And I am too weak to stop you.â
I Still Am (#806: December 30, 2014)
âHonour is one of the few things I still have,â he was many things, most of them negative, but he did have a few positive qualities too. âThen I would like to return to Hueco Mundo as soon as possible so that I can be by your side.â
"As you wish,â Tier said, biting back a grin. Ulquiorraâs dedication made her feel powerful, as if she was one step closer to accomplishing her goals. It was a nice feeling, one Tier was unused to experiencing. She was grateful for the change of pace. Intending to thank him, Tier opened a Garganta so Ulquiorra wouldnât have to.Â
âYou must be exhausted,â Tier murmured, watching as Hueco Mundoâs skyline came into view.
Thereâs so much I could tell you if I felt like it. Which I do less and less.

Now it was his turn to be speechless. His arrogance had dissipated and left him in the lurch. Had he come off to strong? How could arrancars even understand the meaning of the word when their hearts had become dark and formed not only a mask that was torn from their whole face to only leave whatever remnants behind along with a never ending emptiness void within, their hollow hole.

Seeing Grimmjow nervous threw Tier off. She fiddled with a lock of hair to distract herself from the heaviness of his words, vaguely confused by his embarrassment. Grimmjow was proud and sharp-tongued. Tier hated seeing him off-kilter. It often felt as if she was talking to a stranger. If a few words could calm him down, Tier would be happy to do the talking.
âI have no idea what a crush is,â Tier admitted, her confusion apparent, âBut if it means what I think it means, I canât say I mind.â
Tier knew what love was- or at least she thought she did. Back when she had frequented the human domain, Tier had seen dozens of couples pressed together beneath umbrellas or holding hands as they crossed the street. She saw such actions as vapid, brought on by the human desire for codependence. Still, it couldnât be that bad. Tier knew she could handle a bit of contact. Itâll be like sparring, Tier told herself, but without the chance of death.
Truth be told, Tier had no idea what she was getting into.
âThen thatâs what I shall do,â he replied and turned fully towards the other and bowed for her.
âAnd I will serve as I served Aizen,â he added as he straightened his back and placed his hands behind his back. He knew he was a valuable soldier, he had shown his strength many times before, not to mention just how loyal he was to his master.Â
âYou are an honorable man,â Tier said, âHueco Mundo will welcome you with open arms.âÂ
If he wished to return immediately, Tier would arrange a Garganta without thinking twice. However, if Ulquiorra chose to linger, Tier feared she would lose track of him completely. After all, their paths had crossed by chance. There was no telling where Ulquiorra would pop up next. Still, she wished him the best. He deserved far more than she could give him.
you only look; you scarcely feel.
Edna St. Vincent Millay, from Ragged Island (via violentwavesofemotion)
Ulquiorra was silent for a long moment, lost in thought. Then he spoke up. âYouâre the only qualified leader I know of now that Aizen-sama is gone.â He looked over at her, waiting for her reaction. It was true, she did have what it took to lead, she just needed worthy followers.
Tier bit the inside of her cheek to keep from smiling. Although she tried not to show it, Tier was immensely surprised by Ulquiorraâs response. She always assumed that he didnât like her. It was a stupid assumption, spurred on by Ulquiorraâs serious demeanor, but it had stuck with Tier for awhile. Now, things were different.Â
âIf you consider me a worthwhile leader, then youâre welcome to join my cause,â Tier murmured.

Grimmjow blinked to get the gist of everything she asked. How should he put  in a way she would understand without jumping to conclusions about something else? He looked around; blue hues traveled in one direction and then the another. Los Nochas always had spies watching their every move.

Tier would have gasped if she hadnât already bitten her tongue. Love? Tier had never expected to hear the word directed towards her. It had surprised her and Tier didnât like being caught off guard.
It was a sweet gesture. Tier would give him that. Grimmjow seemed to understand emotion far better than she did. He used it well, almost like a weapon, and Tier would be lying if she said it didnât leave her weak in the knees.Â
âYou... love me?â Tier murmured, âNo one has ever said such a thing in my presence.â
I like it.
I endure.
