STOP BULLYING, AVOID DEPRESSION: UPLIFT EVERYONE
In today's tumes the mental health of the youth have been very much affected because of bullying, bullying is also believed to increase the rate of self harm on teenagers. Victims of bullying are primarily targeted for their sexual orientation, stereotype, race, learning disabilities, and sexual behavior among others. Bullying can impact a child on physical, mental and emotional levels. Some of the effects comprise anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, lack of self-esteem, gastric issues, relationship issues, and addiction to alcohol and drug. If a child continues to experience being bullied he would carry the depression he is feeling to his adulthood, and if that happens if would clearly affect our future generations.
In order for us to stop depression which is sometimes caused by bullying we must encourage everyone to find something that can makes us smile because studies have shown that smiling releases endorphins, natural painkillers, and serotonin. Together these three neurotransmitters make us feel good from head to toe. Not only do these natural chemicals elevate your mood, but they also relax uour body and reduce physical pain. We can also join different organizations and activities to keep ourselves busy and happy. I would like to remind everyone that depression is not long-term, we can find a way to stop it we can do something to make us feel better and that is to love our self even more.
Please hear me out, if you see someone who is sitting in the corner that is lonely and has to one to talk to, please confort them. Show them that you can be their friend and that you'll always be there, if we practice this manner I know we can all get through this, i know we can fight against depression. For those who are feeling a little sad right now, I know sometimes we can't help it but to be sad, and that is okay. The only thing that matters is that if we are sad today we must get up and start tomorrow with a smile and believe that someday you can do it and you can conquer it, because I know you can. What you are feeling today is only temporary there are so much more reason to be happy for tomorrow and for the next day. You can do it, love. I know you can, you are strong and I love you.
