proof that i'm kinda stupid. the grievances i had been focusing on with my lawyer were property damage and lost wages etc. which feels more important to me but literally none of that has not been as important to my case against my landlords as the maintenance guys inexplicably stealing my rug

context: maintenance guys took my rug and said they were going to have it cleaned and then just never returned it + never explained where it went. i just thought it was a stupid kinda funny thing that's kind of indicative of how i've been treated. realized thru this process "the people sent to repair my apartment stole my property" is actually an extremely important thing to bring up
