Happy birthday Mrs. Ice! This year I decided to blast some more Studio Ghibli characters with the melanin beam- Ashitaka and San from Princess Mononoke. They were a lot of fun to do, and I've already got more SG characters on the roster (I was going to do a whole bunch more for the Melanin Beam Challenge but time makes fools of us all). A quick aside about Xena

My favourite thing, of all the things, about Xena: Warrior Princess was that Xena’s quest for redemption wasn’t easy.  

And the reason that it wasn’t easy wasn't just  because she’d done horrible things in her past, but because sometimes she still really, really wanted to do horrible things in the present.
