Hello!!!

I am alive and well, and I thank you, as well as everyone else who wrote to me, for you concern :). I am truly sorry for my prolonged silence. It's been very inconsiderate of me not to post anything nor reply to anyone who's been writing to me the last couple of years.

Believe it or not, I am tidily gathering all the messages that were sent to me so I can reply to you all one by one. However, I wanted to reply to everyone with a proper apology in tandem, and that could only mean a new chapter, which has been 80% done for about a year. Alas, I haven't yet found the time to make a proper comeback into the fandom.

Considering my hiatus so far, I no longer have the right to make any timeframe promises, yet I've been constantly trying to organize my life in a way that might allow me, at some point, a slow but regular return to the fandom, with which, I can assure you, I have not fallen out of love in the slightest.

Thank you all once again for all your messages and for still visiting this profile. :)

Hey!! I really hate to be a bother (and of course, real life comes before fanfiction- I know things are pretty hectic in the world right now) but do you plan on updating your story anytime soon? Thanks in advance, and by all means take however long you need to write it ❤

No bother at all :). And sorry for the late reply! I've actually resumed writing very recently. I try to write every sunday. I have yet to release any new chapters since my hiatus, but the next one is about 60% ready, so it's coming ;).

Hi! I loved your story Fly To Live and I had a few questions. Is Chapter 30 the final chapter and how long did you spend writing it? Thank you so much :)

Sorry for the late reply; I’ve only now returned to the fandom after a very long (though somewhat intermittent) absence.

To reply to your question: no, Chapter 30 is definitely not the final chapter of the story, nor is Act 3 the last act. There are twice as many acts fully planned, and more than twice as many chapters. As for how long it took me to write it, I don’t really recall, but on average it takes me 1 to 2 months per chapter.

This month I plan to start warming up my writing muscles again, so maybe I can manage to pop out a new, long-overdue chapter by Christmas, after a nearly two-year hiatus. Hopefully my new obligations will allow me to return to a somewhat regular schedule of updates. We’ll see...

Map of Tinas City

I almost forgot to post this here. This is a rather crude sketch of Tinas, in the kingdom of Erfar, the place Hiccup has reached in latest couple of chapters. The measurements are not as precise as those of the Full Worldmap, and the scaling of some objects is very (VERY) approximate, but I still wanted to provide readers with a rough idea of the city's layout and points of interest.
