Ladder of Divine Ascent

I realized that I never posted this completed painting. It’s based on a book by the same name, and on the many renditions and icons of this theme that have gone before. But rather than a ladder, I used personal iconography in the form of a partially-build gravity dock once found in Allouez Bay on Lake Superior. I utilized blueprints in its construction.
