Merry Christmas to everyone out there, and here's a drawing of the Krampus. An evil little monster, our fuzzy friends accompanies St. Nick on St. Nicholas' day. If he sees a bad child he has three options, beat them with a switch, beat them with chains, or shove them in a basket he carries on his back until the next year.

Hello all!
I saw a commercial for the Rampage film a while back, and wanted it to have more of the silly vibe of the games, so I drew up a intro to my treatment. I probably won’t do the rest unless I get some time to draw. Hope you like it!
Day 31 of Inktober! Kinda!
I had a big move on the 19th, so today is actually drawing 19 even though it’s on the 31st.
The subject is the Wendigo, a legend from the Algonquin tribes in the US and Canada. Wendigo are said to have tight skin, and are reported to eat humans. The Wendigo also plays into the Ojibwa’s legend of the first dog.

Day 18 of Inktober!
The feared and powerful Mongolian Death Worm is on display! Burrowing beneath the earth to strike at it’s prey, it can kill at a distance by firing venom from it’s gaping maw!
Day 17! of Inktober! and it is very late.
Today, the Hodag is the star. A fun little frog faced, elephant leg, bulldog eating creature. Isn’t he great?
Day 16 of Inktober!
The Hoop Snake is up today, a creature who makes it’s home from Canada down to North Carolina. This little guy rolls around while biting it’s tail, gaining high speed. When it sees it’s prey, it will unravel and stab at the target using it’s poison tail.
Day 15 of Inktober!
The subject of today’s discussion is the Flatwoods monster. Sighted in West Virginia, it is reported to have long stringy arms, or sometimes no arms at all. It is suspected to be an extraterrestrial due to the fact that the first sighting co-incided with sighting of an unidentified flying object.
Day 14 of Inktober!
Behold the Chickcharney, the glorious fur owl of the Bahamas. Described as three feet tall, furred, and ugly, legends say that treating one well will give good luck, and treating them poorly will result in bad luck.
Day 13 of Inktober! today’s topic: the Loveland Frogman. The most famous sighting happened in 1972 by two police officers. They allegedly saw the creatures, four feet tall, and with faces like frogs, climbing a rail towards the local river.
Day 12 of Inktober! Behold the Storsjöodjuret, umlaut and all.
This is another lake monster, this time from Sweden. Legends stetch back to ancient times, with rune stones erected at the lake showing pictures of the creature. There is more evidence than usual pointing to it’s existence, as a crew with infrared cameras noticed a large body in the lake in 2008.
Day 11 of Inktober!
Our subject is the Fiskerton Phantom. The phantom was sighted in 1997 in England. Four girls saw a cat-like creature the size of a bear, eating a pheasant.
Day 10 of Inktober!
My favorite cryptid from down under, the good ol’ fashioned drop-bear. Drop bears are common in forested regions of Australia, and feed on mammals in those areas. They can drop up to eight meters onto their prey, striking mainly at the neck of the victim.
Day 9 of Inktober!
Today is all about the Jersey Devil, also called the Leeds Devil. Legends say that the Jersey Devil was the thirteenth child of the Leeds family in New Jersey, and was cursed at birth. The Devil now inhabits the Pine Barrens, where it will occasionally attack livestock.
Day 8 of Inktober! Posting this so I’m not up really late, today’s creature is Champ, the monster from Lake Champlain. Champ was first sighted by local tribes, and was called Tatoskok. Champ has said to have had a head like a snake and a long neck, or a long snout and a double row of teeth Locals today generally agree that as long as you leave him alone, Champ’ll leave you alone.
Day 7 of Inktober! Today is all about the jackalope, the fluffy horned rabbit of the midwest. First sighted in Kansas and Iowa, the jackalope is said to be terribly protective. Hunters were advised to wear stovepipes on their shins to protect from low height goring.
Day 6 of Inktober!
While not exactly a cryptid, our subject today is the Grey aliens, sometimes just called the greys. Greys are the most commonly reported type of aliens, featuring large heads and black eyes. They are often connected to abductions, and supposedly kidnapped a school teacher in the mid 1960′s who plotted their home planet around the Zeta Reticuli system, 39 light-years away from earth.
Day 5 of Inktober!
Today is all about the mighty and very convenient fur-bearing trout. They were the best of both worlds, being able to be widely collected, and still having highly valuable fur. One story says that once they were pulled out of the water, the fur would pop right off their bodies, keeping the fish whole and ready for freezing.
