This isn't exactly a Sally face oc role-play acc, I chose a background character and expanded him, gave him a backstory, friends, opinions and etc.
Character name: Erik; full name is Emrik Golding
Age: 15-17
Height: 5'8
Sexuality: straight. No, genuinely😭
Sех: male ♂️
I must warn, he's your typical bully, like Travis but he's not secretly gay. He will say homophobic stuff, as some saw, his notes have slurs in them, which I blur for, I mean, fucking hell, obviously I do.
He's friends with Travis, Maple and Phillip (that guy with blue hair in the cafeteria from Ep 3), he gets along with Chug but Erik is wary of him, "if he can eat 20 chocolate bars in one sitting, he can probably eat me too"
He also doesn't really hate Kenneth, if anything he sees him as a father figure (boo Erik, bad Erik). He genuinely likes Travis, though Erik doesn't know Travis is gay. They're a good duo and enjoy each other's company, Erik doesn't suspect a thing.
Erik's got pretty good family, a mother, a father and a grandmother. The parents are alright, the grandmother is a bitch usually. Mom and dad never were abusive, at least not beyond a slap on the head for something stupid, even then, it was rare, Erik admittedly got away with a lot of shit as a kid, causing him to be spoiled in a sense that he doesn't expect real consequences for his actions. His family had decent income, his father - a mechanic, his mom - some office job out of town, pays well but Erik doesn't really know what she does.
When Erik was in middle school, his grandmother moved in and started bossing around him and his parents, criticizing every move and parenting technique. On the bright side (in Erik's eyes) the older woman had a habit of losing things, making it easy for him to access loose cash and her cigarettes. He started smoking at 14, as cliche as it is, yes, because he considered it to be cool.
At around 16 Erik and his grandmother had a huge argument, causing her to kick him out, despite the fact his parents would've probably let him back in, he decided "fuck you all" and started living at the junkyard cuz he's a bad boy like that 💀💀
He bullies Sal with Travis but tries to stay away from Larry, Erik knows his limits and he can't win a fight with Johnson. But picking on Sal and maybe getting physical? "Yeah, why not, I mean look at this dudes pigtails".
Erik does have a soft spot for Travis though, their friendship is genuine. He really likes zombies and clowns. Clown zombies.
He also absolutely adores dogs, but normal dogs, not like, little chihuahua freaks. The kind of dogs you'd have to guard property.
Maybe I'll add some other stuff in here. I can clearly see that Erik seems like a huge asshole lmao. I promise he's not rotten to the core 😭
Okay, I guess I gotta be honest and admit I'm very unlikely to finish Erik's comic. Generally I'm not into sally face as much as I used to be last year.
So just so you guys knew the rest of what could've been, I'll write down a short summary. I dunno, I'd be disappointed if I followed a comic only for the author to never finish it and never get the chance to know what happens.
So, here.
Erik would have told Kenneth that his son replaced his best friend with a boyfriend. Kenneth tells Maddie to go upstairs, she voices her annoyance for being excluded but leaves. then Travis would come home and be stunned to see Erik. Erik would snap at the sight of his friend (or perhaps it's the red eyed demon half posessing him) and Erik would get into a physical fight with Travis, they'd roll around in the backyard a bit before Kenneth realized the people at church or passerbyers could potentially see the scene, so he yanks the 2 into the house and just tells them to not break anything. Erik kinda scares at him, expecting Kenneth to be angry for the guy beating his son, but Kenneth has the kind of look that says "I'd do the same so whatever".
Travis and Erik kick and claw and bite a but more before Erik slams him into a wall a bit too hard and Travis stops fighting back. Erik tells him that Trav is a horrible friend and deserved any insult that came his way before or after this (😬)
Speeding up a bit, Kenneth drags Erik to church, Erik panics thinking he'd be killed or forced to confess or whatever awful thing a Bishop could do? But instead Kenneth tells him that Erik has a choice, either Kenneth calls the cops and pulls enough strings for Erik to never see the light of day again, or Erik can have a place where he's wanted, needed, always appreciated and trusted. Aka The Devourers of God. Erik chooses to join the cult so he gets a robe and Yada Yada.
He had a struggle with killing people at first but ended up being a perfect member. He specializes in killing "problems" and draining blood for sacrifices. But he can do any task given to him.
Not really relevant but Erik gets a doberman when he's around 18 and has a small house a 30 minute ride from the church. The doberman belonged to a cop that the cultists killed. Erik once, at around 24, met Travis at the junkyard by mere chance and had a really big argument again where Travis attempted to apologize, but Erik couldn't bare the shame and generally didn't want to remember the past so he almost let Dasher (the doberman) attack Travis before just telling him to leave. Travis did and the 2 didn't try to reconnect or really talk afterwards.
During the last battle with Ashley and Sal he kinda knows that the cult will fall, just a feeling in his chest. He didn't plan to switch sides either way and the only thing he did was tell Travis "Remember me, when you're up there" (heaven) The only non negative thing he told Travis since their falling out.
Erik would die in 2003 by the hand of Ashley as one of the cultists that attack her and perish.
Also unrelated but in at around 20 he gets a girlfriend and they have a kid in 1999. The gf almost gets killed by the cult cuz her and the baby distracted Erik from the cult too much but they ended up living and outliving Erik significantly.
I also wanna say that if the acorn from the beginning of the comic DIDNT fall on Erik's head, aka the poll chose that it didn't, then his faith would've been very different, he'd wander and kick random stuff at the junkyard and let his anger out by breaking stuff. Then the snowstorm would pick up, he'd get tired from his breakdown and pass out in the middle of the junkyard, (gore warning), his head landing on a shapr end of a broken glass bottle, the impact not being necessarily deadly, but the snow and cold of the night finished the job, he remains a ghost at the junkyard for years.
*Erik steadies his posture before blankly staring at Larry, then at the books in his hand. He smiles, slightly forceful. He snatches the book and few papers from Larry's hands swiftly, before glancing onto the ground, spotting a few papers he dropped, stepping and covering them with his shoes discreetly before crouching to pick them up*
*the words came out a bit too casual, the tone not matching the anxious look on Erik's face.*
"Well, uh, "Occupied". Then don't let me take up any more of yer precious time, Johnson"
He seemed to brush it off, apparently having had weirder interactions with other students in the hallway. With little more than a raised eyebrow, he continued to walk with Todd down the hall.
The statement touched a nerve because Larry had been teased quite a few times for his juvie reputation. He struggled to stay cool, stopping dead in the hallway to look at Erik.
