Hi :) I was wondering if you had a brush pen recommendation? I'm looking for one to do smaller lettering if that helps at all...

hi! mmm in my opinion, lettering in smaller sized fonts are easier than larger ones, so I'd recommend pens with small tips like the tombow fudenosuke soft tip or the pentel fude touch brush pens. And maybe once you get used to those, you can brush pens with larger tips like the kuretake zig clean color pens and the tombow dual brush pens! I hope it helped!
