GENUINELY what ive been thinking about since i tried looking up ANYTHING with them on tumblr. i dont even "ship" them in the conventional meaning of the word, just like .... observing them .......in situations..........
I don't want to be friends with russians. Not even regular ones. I don't want to seek for good russians. I want them to simply fuck off my home and allow me and my ukrainian friends to live, fathers and mothers who are servicemen in Ukrainian Armed Forces to raise their children back in their homes, for our government to improve and to become better without need to plead everyone for weapons. Is it too much? Or too political?
I wanted to buy switch without "I will have something to do while power outages" thoughts. I wanted to work calmly and comfortable without stress from air raid alarms and explosions, without need to explain kids that "this explosion happens because our Air Forces are protecting us from threats".
And I want russians to stay away from me, my blog, my art, my family, my hometown, my entire fucking country. Including Luhansk and Donetsk regions and Crimea peninsula and Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
No this is actually a fucking insane to thing to say to victims of centuries of colonization, genocide, oppression, and forcible deportation who say "hey maybe consider not glorifying our oppressor through media you create, especially since a lot of things you consider to be cultural of that nation are actually stolen from the peoples they colonized" to then respond with "well I, a progressive westerner, really enjoy media about your oppressor and think you're hysterical at best and racist at worst for trying to take that away from me". Like how is that a normal thing i have to experience every day. Unreal.

the land of light and rain forming her face and her eyes are teary being well the Rain part of it all, furniture, books and computers and other components of a usual life floating away, sinking, breaking down and returning to dust to form a sea floor. a tiny martini glass on the edge

instead of the exit being withing arms reach like on June's piece, Roses is inside her own mind, something something seer of light being able to see all but her own mind, how overbearing infinite knowledge can be to one huh
I love this comic so much it always is a huge inspiration on anything with Rose I ever made. I don't even know why it stuck(no pun intended) with me so much but I just can't get it out of my head whenever I think about Rose

note: this one took me way too long. I had another version but I hated it so much I redrew Daves part completely at the point of progress where everything was pretty much finished. no regrets tho. wish I came up with a way to include davesprite here but well

oh god this is a hard one. I worked on her all through out and remembering my exact thought process won't be easy

her liminal space is space, which is liminal. okay okay that's not an explanation. background is old game 16 bit type graphics, being well, an endless space

a witch of space, gazing at her friends from a far far away star. looking closer and closer, being careful not to mess anything up, and when she almost reaches them the game crashes. truly you never realise loneliness of space and yet it's endlessness until you get too close to the sun (green sun pun intended).
