Roarie Yum and Rich Burroughs

Roarie is a fantastic art model from Florida that I’ve wanted to work with for some time. She’s got a really lovely face and her work has a lot of great energy in it. We did some of my more simpler Polaroid work, like this, and then also did some images with a hair and makeup person. It was kind of like two shoots for the price of one.

She’s also a very interesting person, we talked for a few hours the night she arrived in town. That’s one of the real pleasures of being able to work with so many creative people, getting to talk with them and learn a bit more about their lives and art.

Alexandretta on the Impossible Project’s PX 600 black frame.

I had some issues shooting this film indoors. There just wasn’t enough light and a lot of the images were blurry. But I liked a few of the soft ones. This image still works for me, despite the blurriness.

Verronica and Rich Burroughs. Impossible Project PZ 680 film.

This is from my fourth shoot with Verronica, over the course of about two months. I’ve never shot with anyone else that many times in such a short period, which should tell you how awesome I think she is. Having hot, creative friends is pretty nice.

I was very glad to get the chance to work with Tiffiney. She’s a model from out East but she travels quite a bit. She’s lovely and great in front of the camera. I expected us to work well together and I think we really did.

This was shot on the Impossible Project’s PZ 680 film. I really love the soft colors, it’s very pretty.
