Things i’d write in my journal #1
During the time that I made this account, i told myself it was only going to be poems and excerpts from me, but i have so many thoughts in my head that i can't put into a poem.. they’re just messy and i share them with myself but i feel like I'm not truly getting it out and clearing my stress until i tell someone (or something) other than me, even if that means a computer screen. So right now all that is on my mind is the fact that for some odd reason I cannot seem to find the beauty in a lot of things right at this moment. Don't get me wrong, I love the world and i think its a beautiful place.. but right now, with where I'm at in life i can't see the beauty that i know I'm capable of seeing. Im a happy person, i have a great life.. with an even greater boyfriend to accompany me on my journey through it, but I'm missing out on the exploration part of life. The part where i see things that blow my mind because of how beautiful they are. I know I'm young so i don't worry as much about it because the time will come where i can set myself free to find all the beauty i want, but for now i feel somewhat trapped in this bubble, and this bubble in my city.. my state really.
Spending my time with you, oh, how I cherish that more than the moon cherishes the sun lips that become elongated and perked with chinky eyes every time we stare at one another And that is how I know that I couldn't ask for anything more than to be spending my time with you.

Stop telling me it’s OK to be an ocean, like it’s poetic. Because every time I have a storm in my head people drown. From now on, I’ll only whisper. For everyone likes the faded sound of the waves…

Sometimes I worry that I’ll run out of poems, but then life happens.

Your fathers mistakes are not your mistakes, Your mothers regrets should never be yours. Neither will your mistakes and regrets be your children’s. Your inheritance is the strength that kept your fathers father fighting and your mothers mother never giving up. For you to give up is to fail a train of hard workers. A betrayal to the whole clan their DNA is not to live forever but to be acknowledged for it’s ambitions -the-unuttered // 1:56 pm
The overwhelming feeling of melancholy filled the air, and she breathed it in oh so much.

It’s all about the person you want to tell things to: the good news, the bad news, the random thoughts, the daydreams, the opinions.

Now’s not the time to be poetic, she said, just pull my panties down and do me up against this tree.

Love will pull you in like the ocean, Like the strong force of the waves that grabs you and holds you with all of its might It drowns you until you feel like you cant breath either because its breathtakingly amazing or heartbreaking.

A little something from my new book. Coming 2016. More writing here
Tears trickle down from her eyes mimicking rainfall on a stormy day. “I just want to be perfect,” she said. But how could she? She was a mess. - C
Insomnia
I wish insomnia was a foreign word that didn't take over my head at darker hours of the day Sometimes I'd like to thank it because, well, some of my best thoughts come at 3:00 a.m. But, sometimes I'd like to grab the word "insomnia" and rip it into pieces because some of my worst thoughts come at 3:00 a.m. - C
