There's that time in everyone's life where you go: 'yardage, bah humbug'. And then, before you know it you're having to Google 'colour block baby jackets' because you're so far through the project that you damn well REFUSE to undo it. Actually, I kind of like what a second colour is bringing to the table. (Both a literal and metaphorical table in these particular photos.)

2014 - the year of knitting dangerously.

I've been a bit quiet so far this year, not because of a lack of knitting and other excitements, but rather because these dark, cold days move me into hibernation mode. So I've decided to come out of my cave-den and start blogging once more! The list of projects seems to be growing exponentially, and the new year sales have inflated my yarn stash to epic proportions. This can only be good in the long term, but my (very unlikely) plan for this year is to try and use more wool than I buy. Or at the very least, maintain some sort of equilibrium! The problem is this: I have a restricted yarn storage area and a finite amount of knitting time (sad but true). If unchecked, I may find myself leaving a vast amount of yarn in my will one day. So, forward 2014: the year of knitting dangerously.
