Durante parte do Séc. I a.c., o poder em Roma foi assumido de modo tripartido. Chamou-se a esta forma de aliança política "Triunvirato". O primeiro Triunvirato da República Romana foi composto por Júlio César, Pompeu e Marco Crasso. A este último foi dada uma simples missão: atacar os Partos, um pequeno e, aparentemente, inofensivo povo. Crasso não se preocupou em treinar formações romanas e descurou qualquer tipo de estratégia. O resultado foi desastroso. O pequeno exército venceu facilmente e Crasso lamentou para sempre o erro cometido. O seu nome persiste até hoje. ERRO CRASSO. Tudo não passou de um lamentável desastre. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////// CRASSUS' MISTAKE During the 1st Century AD, the power in Rome was tripartide. This form of political alliance was called Triumvirate. The first Triumvirate of the Roman Republic was composed by Julius Caesar, Pompeius Magnus and Marcus Crassus. To Crassus was given a simple mission: to attack the Partus, a small and apparently harmless people. Crassus didn't worry about training the roman army and had a reckless strategy.The result was disastrous. The small army easily defeated Crassus, who regretted forever this mistake. His name lasts until today. CRASSUS' MISTAKE. Nothing but a regrettable mistake.
