It was late, not horror movie late, but my mom's going to ground me kind of late. You were hanging out at the park with some of your friends from school and completely forgot about the time. Now your walking through some random neighborhood as a shortcut. It was really quiet, too quiet. You felt eyes on you, but all the houses were dark, almost abandoned. But you cared more about getting home faster, so you didn't turn around. You kept walking and walking, then you saw a red balloon, a cold shiver ran through your spine. You started walking faster, but this annoying giggle sound, this sound, it came from everyone, you looked around, but you saw nobody. You only saw a faint shadow. You started running, the way was never ending, as if the road is stretching, playing games with you. After running and running, hearing that maniac giggle, it made you dead pissed now. It was as if the road fr was stretching. You collapse on the ground. The next morning you woke up in your room, everything seemed normal. Your mother came in "Sweetie, how are you?" She asked softly at the edge of your bed while cleaning the wound on your face.
"I'm fine.. Ow, what are you doing on my face?" You asked half annoyed, you were tired and your entire body hurt, you remembered collapsing, but the wounds around your body? Those were new. Your mom continued cleaning your wounds "A very kind lady helped. She saw you laying on the ground and called the police. We're doing a report today when your feeling better. Your entire body is full of bruises." You sit up immediately, ignoring the pain and look at your arms and legs. "What the actual fuck?! I didn't do anything yesterday mom, I swear I don't remember fighting someone!" You say whiles looking at your arms. Your mother kept questioning and you denied everything, you were now annoyed at this point and told her you needed some time. The day was normal, but you didn't go to school. But after midnight? Your peace ended. You heard Pennywise voice from the walls, not outside the window, or anything, but inside the walls. "My my, aren't you a rude one? Not very ladylike from you last night, running away from me." You tried ignoring his voice, hid under the blanket. " Darling, you and I both know this blanket isn't doing shit." You rolled your eyes, even though you knew he was right about that. You decided to get up from bed. "Whoever or whatever you are, just fucking leave me alone! I didn't do anything wrong!" You yelled out. Pennywise laughed "My darling, you did do lots of wrong things, like running away from our date! You just ran!" You looked confused "Mr. Demon thingy, that was no fuckass date, all you did was spawn random balloons and laugh like some weirdo on crack!" You flop back on the bed, genuinely mad "Plus, you beat me up!" Pennywise finally made himself viable looking also offended, but not I want to kill you offended. He stepped forward, pushing your back on the bed "You need to stop with that sass. I tried making it romantic, but you were the one running away from my 'weirdo laugh' and I was gonna do something serious!" You tried to push him off you, but he was really heavy and strong "First off, I'm not being sassy, your just unreasonable and annoying! And how was I supposed to know you were planning a date! I don't even know you!" Pennywise paused for a second "oh, I knew I forgot something. " he was too embarrassed and disappeared out of thin air. Your now deeply confused. You just went to sleep. You didn't really go to school for a week, it was as if the wounds were getting worse, and you hadn't heard or seen Pennywise ever since, you only saw red balloons around the neighborhood when you looked out of the window. You kept thinking about him, scared and confused. You just thought to yourself it was probably some fever dream.
