The way Monty's bad end in the AHitD after story traumatized me sm cuz he was my fave before reading it like,,, did he at least regret what he'd done (aka indirectly murdered Alex WTF) or was he just a soulless Nice Guy all this time and Alex was too blind to see it (I CANNOT when he said he still loved the prick LIKE HELLO???? U DEAD BC OF HIM HO????) This after story srsly needs an after story cuz I need to know the kind of person he truly is for me to get over this betrayal???!!! Like was it just heat of the moment kinda thing thats why he snitch and did he at least suffer inside after realizing what he done or was he just like meh and gone about his day since turns out he didn't really care about Alex all that much, if he was able to do that to someone he claimed to/supposedly loved I–
I hope u answer this i srsly need closure PLS its been years and I haven't forgotten help

Jokes aside, I'm incredibly happy (and embarrassed) that an old character of mine still gets attention! Monty is my baby, and I do love him a lot, no matter how freakish and selfish he turned out to be. He's my beloved son, and I'll always stand by him!
If you have read his good ending's after story, you'll know that he has abandonment and self-worth issues and, sadly, therapy wasn't as common in 1910 as it is now.
So yes, despite he's in love with Alex and cares deeply for him, in his bad end he feels betrayed, and all that love turns into bitterness and into a "if he can't be mine, then he won't be with anyone else" state of mind. Let's say breaking up made his fragile mind go completely unsteady, and poor Alex was in a situation where everything turned for the worse for him.
Does that mean Monty didn't love Alex? Not at all. I'm sure Monty broke down in tears the moment he realized what he had done, and regret would chase him till the end of his life. Temporary madness? Maybe, but that doesn't make him free of guilt.
In conclusion, Alex and Monty's relationship can be a happy one, yes, but only if the two of them work through it with all their might.
What are we working on next?? We have not one, but TWO projects going on!
