Erwin Week 2018 has ended!

Erwin Week 2018 has now officially concluded! This is the fourth year we’ve hosted this event and we’re so grateful that so many amazing people participated. Thank you SO much to every single person who contributed to the success of this week – we had a lot of truly amazing works and we’re so proud that the fandom came together to celebrate Erwin. Erwin week day 7: Titan( Retelling of Return to Shingashina)

I focused more on the retelling of the return than on the actual Titan part

As I thought of what I was going to draw for this day, I realized once again that Levi’s decission to let Erwin go was the best one, as painful as it was to come to terms with it. Erwin’s death had meaning and if Levi had chosen him, I don’t think Erwin would have been too happy.

This concludes the Erwin Week for me, as I don’t have any more ideas. When is the next Erwin or Eruri week coming though? :D

Erwin Week Day 7: Titan

Concepts of Erwin as each of the nine Titan Shifters. (because theoretically he could have been any of them if the story was radically (or not so radically) different).

Some notes on these Titanwin designs:

Colossal: for Colossal Titanwin I was thinking of what Erwin is like as a leader. As the Colossus Titan, Erwin’s facial features are half formed: no bottom lip, no bottom eye lid. Not only this the lids are translucent so essentially he can’t ever shut his eyes in his Titan form. Basically Erwin can never rest because now possessing the Colossal Titan, he has a constant responsibility even more so than just being the commander of the Survey Corps. Therefore: half formed face that never allows to him to rest or turn a blind eye.

Attack/Rogue: I just based Erwin’s design on Eren’s Attack Titan design bc the teeth are my fave and I think they work for Erwin.

“Female”: B i g b a r a t i d d i e s.

Also Female Titanwin makes literally everyone question their sexuality.

Founding: I know Erwin isn’t of royal blood and only royals have the God Eyes™ but it’s the only notable feature of the founding Titan and also Erwin with those eyes is too irresistible not to draw.

Erwin Week: Day 7 → Titan: Retelling of Return to Shiganshina ※ AU where Erwin takes the serum and inherits the Colossal Titan. His titan face looks less like like a skeleton and resembles his human one. His titan body, besides a big torso, also has big muscular arms.
