Life is too short for someone nonchalant, find someone who loves you loudly.
Oh to be someone's sure thing
In one of his writings on the Qur'an, ibn al-Qayyim mentioned the following beautiful point:
Allah said:
[إِنَّ رَبِّي رَحِيمٌ وَدُودٌ]
"My Lord is certainly Merciful, Loving" [Hud 90]
and He said in surah al-Burooj:
[وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ]
"And He is Forgiving, Loving" [al-Burooj 14]
How kind it is for Allah to pair the name al-Wadood - Loving - with al-Raheem - Merciful - and al-Ghafoor - Forgiving! For a person might forgive someone who wronged him without loving him. Likewise, a person might show mercy to someone that he does not love. But the Lord forgives His slave when he turns to Him in repentance, shows mercy to him, and in addition to that He loves him, for Allah loves those who repent. When one of His servants repents to Him, He loves him, regardless of what he did.
[al-Tibyan fee Ayman al-Qur'an pg 146]
In our long, complicated conversations, when you say, “To me…” I feel as though you’ve just ended the world’s debate and offered me its final point of view

When God says move, be obedient and move. When God says be still, be obedient and remain still. Both require faith, and both require obedience. Trust that His timing is always better than your own.

less of a poem, more of a reminder. ( ఌ )
Suddenly Allah will fix everything. You think that story has ended for which you were praying to Allah for so long, for which you have started praying tahajjud. Allah will send a miracle soon Insha’Allah. He will change the whole situation in a way you never imagined. He will rearrange everything for you because of your tawakkul. In the moment when everything is going against you. Just remember His words You don’t know perhaps Allah will bring about a new situation after that. ✨
even in the belly of a whale there was hope, so what makes you think Allah doesn’t hear your cries? He knows what your heart wants even if you were to sit on the prayer mat and not utter a sound.
