Yet another old, unfinished fma comic. This one is about roughly 3 years old I think? I added some slight bits to the older parts and then added the last panel new to kind of wrap it up a bit, I already had the dialogue written on the page I just hadn’t drawn it.

If I remember correctly I drew this because I was thinking of Alphonse and Edward’s first little while after joining the military and Alphonse still not being fully used to the armour body. Also alphonses last ditch attempt to try and have some control over his appearance, might aswell give it one last go. Edward’s probably still a bit awkward with the armour stuff and also is just emotionally constipated and doesn’t really now how to deal, could be ooc? Not sure. I don’t think he’d want to push it because he’d feel guilty and doesn’t want to make Alphonse upset but, YA KNOW how it goes. These damn kids shakes my head solemnly

sally having spent all those years keeping percy so close, knowing he would eventually go somewhere she couldn’t follow. being alone in knowing who he is and being alone in raising him, left behind by poseidon, not abandoned, we’ve seen that he shows when she calls, “love, another,” we see that he loves her but that doesn’t matter because he is not there. she is left behind, tasked with fulfilling this impossible duty alone. and now she is faced with her son leaving her behind as well. it’s always for her safety, but she has to stand there and let percy run into danger and she can’t follow him, and you see it all over her face. this is not the first time she’s been left behind, so set apart from this world that has engulfed her son so entirely. it is not the first time and it will not be the last. it’s only going to get worse. she is alone, and she cannot keep her boy safe from this. i’m in hell
