It’s time (Imagine Dragons)

returning : aisha + hakyeon
When the door opened, Hakyeon’s eyes feel to meet Aisha; a grin brightening his face without hesitation until her question blew through him. Two seconds, and he laughed, head cocked as he ran his fingers through his hair. “Were you that worried about me?” He played the words in a small teasing joke, because Aisha was not one to admit she was worried. He had to catch her on it when he could.
There was a quick step forward, arms wrapped around Aisha in a tight bear-ish hug. He had to do it before she came to her senses. A sigh coming from his lips as he laughed again. “Sorry I made you worry,” he rubbed in a little, stepping back and releasing the woman with a grin on his lips.
A falter—
"Oh— I brought you gifts," Hakyeon announced proudly, leaning down to lift up the box. A short boucing of it to let Aisha hear the noise the contents made. Someone with more manners might have asked to come in, but Hakyeon just tried to awkwardly squeeze himself past — box hoisted up above his head so she couldn’t peek at the contents. "You can’t peek, I want to show you them one by one," he told Aisha, stepping around and into the house he didn’t own.
The box lowered just enough as he side-stepped, looking back at Aisha. “Come, make me some tea and I’ll show you everything.”
It had only been two seconds and she was already confused as hell. What the fuck was he doing there—and not answering her question? It wasn’t like she didn’t have answers to ask that since he had been gone for how long? Aisha couldn’t remember the last date they had seen each other but the smile he wore as if he was a little excited child, but then she thought that was how all airbenders should be.
“I was not.” It’s what she finally mutters, before she’s engulfed by his arms and she swears he smells weird and she should care but she doesn’t and her head hurts even worse when he wraps his arms around her tightly like this but she doesn’t care much. “I wasn’t…” She says again, lifting her arms to place them at his back but he pulls away before that and all the golden-haired girl can do is let her arms fall again and her expression(less) come back on.
A minute and a half later, she noticed his manners didn’t get better. He was still like an annoying kid, pushing his way past her still half-asleep body as if she wasn’t the owner and he wasn’t just some guy she found almost dead on the streets. Aisha raises her eyebrows high, letting her eyes grow as she stares at him, trying to find words to complain but, at the end, nothing comes out.
“What the---” Is actually the only thing she manages to say, still in shock and with her head thumping and shit, tea is not that bad at all. So she rolls her eyes, walks back inside and carefully closes the door, shaking her head as she makes her way to the kitchen, already pushing the water off the sink with a hand to put it in a pot.
“Be louder and I’ll drop it all on you, fucker. I thought I had taught you something before you left, but not even that, right?” Her words are harsh, but what follows is a tsk and a weak smile pulling at the corner of her dry lips. No harm done.
❝ i know you ❞ ▮ aisha & taehyung
Hearing her repeat his nickname, Taehyung smiled wide for a moment, expecting to hear a confirmation from her. Instead, she turned instead, dismissing the girls that had been clustered around her. “Oh, oops, sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt your conversation…” He made his excuse with a tiny, chagrined shrug. If he was honest, he had barely noticed that she was doing anything else.
Her reaction, though, wasn’t all that he could have hoped for. “One of their infants? Hey, now, no need to be rude.” Taehyung’s smile twisted slightly, looking a bit put out for a moment. He had liked Krystal; she was one of the few in the Triads who hadn’t been rotten to the core. One of the few who hadn’t given him another reason to hate benders. He would have thought that she would have remembered him, but… apparently, when you were a big shot, you didn’t need to remember the small fries. “Yeah, we knew each other in the Triads. I might not have been an infant, but I guess I was just as insignificant in the long run, huh? I was just some runner kid for them, hauling around all the work they didn’t want to be bothered with. We worked together a couple of times.” His smile came back at that, easy and infectious, trying to swallow the bitterness of disappointment. He should have known better, really. At the end of the day, he was always going to be some nonbender kid that no one could bother to care about. “I guess it’s not much to remember.”
“But look at you!” His eyes widened slightly at that, gesturing broadly at her. “Star player, dozens of adoring fans! No wonder you don’t remember me. You like it better here?” He tilted his head, inquisitive for a moment. All the Probenders that he knew certainly loved the sport; he doubted that Krystal would be any different at all.
Interrupt your conversation? Aisha could have kissed him, if he didn’t look like such a fetus. Instead, she preferred to shake her head and open up a smile, showing that he wasn’t a problem and rather, much more of a help. She couldn’t remember him, but he had helped her and she wouldn’t just let it pass. “Nah, son. You did well, actually. I’m free from those girls—I couldn’t take more bullshit, you know?”
His smile failing caught her attention, and hers fell as well when she noticed his expression changing and his denial at her faint and, unfortunately, failed attempt. So she shut her mouth, only being able to nod when he explained how he even knew her by that name—and then things become clear, even before she could have another shot to try to let him know she knew who he was.
“Uh, I don’t know man—A kid with your hair and the nickname for the feminine sexual organ shouldn’t pass unknown. I suppose.” She shrugged, raising both of her eyebrows for one second or two to give her sentence an impact, before quickly letting them down and a slight smile to come up cover her lips once again.
The words that left his mouth later caught her a little off guard and her lips twisted to turn a less sincere smile, the ones she used to use when people would compliment her bending and she’d become a little kid unable to bend fire again. “Not that much, dude. It’s just nice, the money’s cool too.” She muttered, frowning slightly. “Calm down, or I’ll have to hit you—Unless that’s something you’re into?”

[‘quite honestly, baekhyun wasn’t sure anymore if he was still following the conversation correctly or if he just was too dumb to understand the other. either way, he chuckled at her words, a friendly smile appearing on his face instead] Well, I don’t know about helping- but if you’re freezing, I can offer you a place to stay at? [‘he shrugs, pointing behind him] The palace isn’t too far away and there’s like, plenty of empty rooms, so.
{ ` : his expression was blank as if he was trying to understand her words for a while–krystal didn't say anything because it was supposed to be the usual expression people would wear when talking to her so she just shrugged when he opened a smile, and tried to return it on the best way she could. } A place? { ` : well, wasn't that even better? her smile widened, before she pressed her pinkish lips together and nodded a few times. } Sure-- wait, the palace? What do you even mean?
sparring { Aisha & Jonghyun }
Jonghyun was still throwing earth disks at the dummy, currently concentrating on trying to hit the object with four disks in different directions. He was about to do it again for the second time when he felt a stream of water hit the back of his head. Loosing his concentration, the disks turned back into their original state and fell to the floor and the earth-bender looked around the practice room for the source. His eyes found themselves fixated on the other person in the room. When did she get there? He thought because when he went in the practice room, he made sure the room was empty. Well at least the person he was waiting for was already here and he could get this show on the road.
" No harm done if that’s what you’re asking " the earth-bender chuckled, giving the other a smile as he walked towards her. " Have you been here long? Because honestly, I remembered walking into the room alone " he continued laughing, his hand rubbing the back of his neck. " Or am I just an idiot who didn’t notice their surroundings? ".
The disks fell back to the ground as earth with a soft sound, and soon brown eyes were fixed on the golden-haired bender. Aisha raised her eyebrows, hoping for all she had that she wasn’t flushing or something idiotic like people her gender would do when meeting their idols as she returned the man’s gaze. He seemed lost, didn’t he? It wasn’t possible he hasn’t even noticed her—was it?
She curled her hands in balls, sinking her nails into the skin she felt getting a little wet as he started speaking. At his remark, she forced up a smile and just stood there, watching as he went. As she thought previously, he didn’t notice her. “Well, shit, yes.” She spit the truth, a little annoyed at this guy right now. Was he just stupid after that hit or what? “I’m going to bet on the second option, since it seemed I didn’t hurt you enough.” Was she supposed to be nice to a star? Oops.

Smile, bow, wave, and repeat. Smile, bow, wave, and repeat. Smile, bow, wave, and repeat. After the finale of the the last act, Kikwang and the other circus performers went out to do their final bow. The crowd’s roars and cheers filled the stadium as Kikwang repeated the phrase in his head over and over again. The show, as always, was a big success. Thanks to the city’s celebrations and festivals, the house was once again full, which was something Kikwang liked to see. More people meant more money in his pocket, which was never a bad thing.
Kikwang and the other performers finally left the stadium for the last time that night and the announcers informed the house that they can clear out and leave. Immediately Kikwang headed for his tent, wanting to avoid getting left with clean up duties or animal care simply because he wasn’t in the mood. Despite the audience’s reaction, Kikwang felt as if his performance was robotic and repeated. It was bothering him the whole night so he figured he should just dress out of his acrobat suit and leave.
When he entered his tent he walked over to a small bucket of water and grabbed the rag next to it. Dipping the bag in the bucket Kikwang brought it to his face to wash off the make up and face paint he wore for the show. Once he finished he started getting out of his one-piece acrobatic suit. He was halfway out of his suit, his bare arms and chest revealed, when someone rushed into his tent. Kikwang only had time to cover himself with his little rag, but smiled when he laid eyes on the girl.
"Am I supposed to give you an answer or was that rhetorical question?" He asked, grinning at her. Deciding to be cheeky he tossed the rag back into the bucket and walked over to his stuff to grab his water bottle. "You know," He said, twisting the lid off. "Most people buy me dinner when they wanna see me without my clothes." He laughed, winking at her and taking a sip of his water.
Shit, obviously not. Instead of an empty circus tent – that would, surely, be one of the best scenarios to a murder or anything else a good mover’s plot would have – she walked in to an inhabited one, with a guy getting naked and with a disgusting tone of voice and charm. Now, I’ll definitely throw up—
Aisha’s senses are quick, and she smiles on the best way she can to not fool the male as she approaches, but her tongue isn’t fond of obeying her, and faster she can help, the words roll out of her lips. “Sorry, no.” It’s what she says, walking past the tent’s formation and dirt to approach the other, with eyesight split between the man and the path she’s trying to go by and not fall.
“I mean—” She starts again, when she manages to stand in front of him. “They’re not all off. Everyone has nipples.” Obvious, Aisha, obvious. Good point though, she decides, running a hand up her golden locks and shrugging softly.
A chuckle finds its way past her lips not much longer after and she shakes her head. “You see, I’m really bad with words—You can go on. I’m just going to be here for a while. Do you have any idea when the popcorn guy is leaving?”
