🌼 What is Star☆Life?

Star☆Life is a planned ensemble stars themed self-help website meant to help people with taking care of their overall health and productivity while connecting with your favorite idol!

🌱 What are its planned features?

Mental health check-ins, medication tracking, sleep tracking, and exercise tracking are just a few of the health based features we have planned! Reminders, to-do lists, and a calendar feature are a few productivity features we have planned too, to help with school and work!

Hello!! This project sounds really interesting, and I was looking to contribute as a coder. However, I am still a student and while I learned and practiced html/css/javascript and databases, I do not have as much practical experience with it. Would it still be alright for me to apply?

i sent in my contibutor application a few days ago and i'm so excited to watch this go forward! i love it it's such a great idea. since the deadline for contributor applications is august 25th, do you know/have an estimate of around when emails will be sent out?

this seems so cool! will this be hosted on an app or a website? i just want to ask, with the personal health data that you'll be collecting & since this project is community-run and volunteer-driven, what measures are you planning on taking to ensure user privacy and data security? thank you!

hello! to answer your first question simply, this will be a website and not an app.

as for the second question, right now, we're currently in the process of planning out which frameworks we want to use for site development, including database options. so far, the technical lead is considering ideas to make sure data is as secure as possible such as encrypting sensitive information. we will most likely be using our own server that is secured in such a way so the technical lead will be the only person who can access it. with our applications open, we hope to recruit a few people to assist in creating secure databases so that user data is as secure as possible.
