Eddie struggling and Venom panicking.

Venom saying "we" instead of "you" when talking about being happier speaks volumes and this whole road sequence lives rent free in my head.

The symbiote isn't throwing salt into the wound of "Eddie could have been happier without it, because then he could have a normal life with a wife and kids," but implying them with a family of their own would have made them BOTH happier. And Eddie doesn't disagree. He doesn't make a jab of "I could have. (If you weren't in the picture)"

He's suddenly solemn when the topic is brought up. Thinking. Longing. Possibly wondering how in the hell that would work.

Never mind the subtleness in this scene, with the symbiote talking to him in a gentle tone, and Eddie glancing at the boy beside him. Almost as if Eddie feels like a part of him wants that too. Because later Eddie talks about them having many more road trips and stuff, again, not leaving the symbiote out of the picture.

This scene feels like a little nod to their family in the comics despite the lack of Sleeper or Dylan here.

Also, an emotional Eddie is always my favorite Eddie.
