Hi hello!! i recently started listening to the podcast and i have been having a GREAT time with it :D i don't think ill be escaping purgatory any time soon but thats just as well, I've always thought that purgatory is like the coolest of the afterlife dimensions

ANYWAY i just finished listening to the Playthings episode (hoping to be caught up by the time you get to s9 o7) and i would like to have it on record that imo, the term for "getting someone into spn" should be "grabbing them tight and dragging them into perdition"

ive done it to several friends and thats what it feels like every time LMAO

spn 7x15 was truly crazy. having the resurgence of the narrative showing us sam’s hallucinations of lucifer in the same episode where we see ex-vessel of a demon, his entire life wrecked by the possession, completely obsessed & in stockholm syndrome-y love w the demon that possessed him. i want to analyse this episode scene by scene. who wrote this one. what did they mean by it

please not s7e15 repo man drawing explicit parallels between dean and jeffrey horribly coping with the loss of a friend right after jeffrey calls the demon that possessed him "the love of his life"

and after this you might be thinking yeah yeah this is how all monsters emotionally torture dean by reminding him of his own guilt and shitty self worth etc etc but THEN

cut to dean--

and this after sixteen (16) episodes of dean being "a wreck, an emotional shell, a drunk" and sam and bobby telling dean that his refusal to mourn cas properly is KILLING him. PLEASE
