Ugh so much of these basic need struggles are so systemic too though i wanna work upstream n also e rooted here n offer what i can while also struggling too. This summer has been so fucking rough for so many of my close friends idk what to do besides listen and share energy-resources, affirm, strategize when i can.. more honestly n take care of myself too n be ok w that all instead of overextending/giving/resentment cycles that aren't good for anyone. What if i could just keep like a dozen candles lit for the next 3 months while a lot of ppl i love get to feel safe, have adequate resources, get more emotional mental support n coping skills, get to make big decisions n have basic needs met out of calm n resilience... i wish i wish i wishhh❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Today i : - scheduled my seattle public library interview!!! Omg omggfggg! - washed my hair - applied to be a read-a-rama camp counselor - did the last stinkin edit on our reference assistant alki library journal essay on non-neutrality and explicitly political visual messaging and cues of solidarity in our displays n work n libguides n interactions - met w potential queer library future housemates! (It would be v different introvert but sweet vibes i think!) - phone chatted logistics w dad, it was mutually sweet and thoughtful!! - didnt get served by the yt metalhead w dreads at highline - i'm at highline by myself for jaqc the stripper's sex witch book/performance tour! Only 2 yts w dreads n idk i feel calm n these vegan fish n chips are dope. I'm socially at ease in this crowd for now n the show will probs be funnn weeeee! Gooooooooddddayyy! Life quantified okay
In other news i showed A how to make soy wax candes n we walk around gardens holding hands (it feels like the most intimate thing??) n he’s getting into the mermaids dolphin oracle deck n we read scifi in bed (he lets me use his nerdyass book light clip) so we’re p much lesbianssss 😛😍
Anyhow, bio fam feels aside i’m grateful to be done w school. I’ve lived in a beautiful house with several roommates who’ve been lovely, morally supportive, and inspiring for me. I remained social and almost died jk a couple times neglecting self care and am very very tired but I AM PROUD OF ME! And so are my friendssss, Caitlyn came over last week and we drank champagne and ate cheetos 😘
