Hello, this is a fandom yap blog

I’d like to fill my head with nothings to feel less like nothing myself.

I like being “smartass” and “philosophical” while also completely wrong about things. I appreciate discussions, so yes, please. Engage.

I enjoy projecting and I am quite sensitive individual, while also being desensitised to lots of bad things. I am trying to work on that so if you see something, point it out.

Why Nightshaders have 90% chance to never be happy together

Short answer: Betrayal + Brainwashment

Longer answer:

Two Time is characterised to be a fanatic, a hard believer in Spawn that went so far to even killing their partner JUST for the sake of their faith. And considering how they look and act still while being ForsakenedTM (dialogues, the descriptions of abilities and the whole thing with Family Home For the Reborn), they cannot abandon their faith and cannot learn how possibly to honour Spawn in better way than they were taught.

Besides. If Spawn is All, no matter how many times they'll say they're sorry, it won't matter, because their actions, betrayal, Azure's death, sacrifice, was destined by Spawn. And Spawn is never wrong, so how can then Two Time be wrong? How can they in their right mind discard their Saviour?

And hence Two Time themselves will never change and the two won't ever reconcile.

This is biased cuz I low-key began hating on all the fluff azuretime after my assed "break up".

Dunno I just... felt so hurt and betrayed, I still sometimes catch the thoughts of being lonely and not enough cuz “if I was enough it wouldn’t happen to me right?” I wanted to harm them so much, for that other one they decided to crawl back to, just to leave and discard them like a piece of shit they made themselves into. Feeling like this... you can't just forgive especially with someone that 1) stabbed you to death and 2) seemingly doesn't really see how your death was their fault.

And the hate never worth it, it consumes you and it doesn't let you live.

Even if I did harm them back the satisfaction would never last and I still will be hurt regardless. So it's just not worth it. And im tired. Elite coping yada yada. I am biased lalala.

Anyway I love Azure, and I think considering their anger issues and situation spiraling into hate and violence cycle is incredibly fitting and Phosphorus is a smartass for bringing them into the realm. Oh yes the drama, the doomed yi!

I don't want to come off as rude at all, but I do personally think that there's some issues with saying that twotime will never change, because people don't work that way.

Also when you think about it and really get into what situation that twotime was in would be like for them, you realize that twotime was really sacrificing Azure for Amarah. Amarah was the one who told them to do it, Amarah was the one who they actually looked up to, and Amarah was the one who drilled the concept of spawn into them. So spawn before twotime was forsaken = Amarah to most of the cultists, even if they didn't realize it.

Even with the second life, that leads them down the path of manically sacrificing themselves over and over again without any further reward with no other forces coaxing lies through their head other than themselves.

That eventually will lead them to doubting more with the very little amount of fuel for their delusions, and in the face of eternal hell that will very easily crumble their beliefs. The human brain can't handle that much pain without breaking and going into dissociation.

What the cult did was break TwoTime down, but provide them with the potential of being something more to keep them obedient. So long as they keep behaving they will be rewarded.

The spectre does not give two shits about that crap and would not truly care if twotime believed in the spawn or not, it just wants them to suffer and doesn't care how it happens.

It gave them enough of something to allow themselves to have a half-assed coping mechanism that hardly works.

Eventually, twotime would know that they are a fool but keep going back anyways because they are convinced it is all they have, that it is all they deserve, and that it is all that will ever give them meaning or identity.

But if the offer were to show itself, they could absolutely improve with enough coaxing. People like TwoTime and Azure can't get better without external help, and it is very complicated.

Other than that, this is good.

This is actually really nice insight thank you! I entirely missed the “sacrificing your loved one for your mentor” & the thing that Two Time sacrifices themselves in rounds. But considering how painful is the reborn process… yep makes sense.

The reason why I was so set up on thinking Two Time or Azure probably will never get better is due to how other survivors (in TT’s case) seem to either dislike them or avoid them, hence it is unlikely they would actually get this external help. With your words, I agree that it is not necessary that they won’t realise they were fooled this entire time but instead they won’t know how to cope with it and live other way than they were taught which is ouch.

And it is even less likely with Azure who is as far as I remember as all the killers is stuck in a limbo of sorts, reliving their lives/worst moments. Also now that I think of that this whole limbo part is weird and a bit of a waste imo, was it actually confirmed by devs?

They may grow tired of hating cuz they’re not 1x1x1x1 but it is a big if considering bad influence going on with Phosphorus and the hat (would be funny af if hat was some sort of walkie talkie Phosphorus would use to encourage Azure)

Also your point about Spectre, I kinda both agree and disagree, as someone who had been in contact with very religious people I’ve seen how painful it is to realise your religion harms you instead of doing you better. So if Spectre feeds on suffering it would be quite “tasty”/beneficial for It to keep Two Time’s delusions wavering but never really give them the push they need to actually see how wrong their ways are.

I think that Spectre needs sentinel Two Time is, It needs someone who adds this whole discomfort vibe to survivors team (cuz it would be harder for them all to trust one another, more drama, more negativity etc etc) and Two Time with their rituals and prays and such adds to this discomfort pile no less than 007n7 does.
