imagine someone getting into hippo campus right now and they wanna look up some lyrics and one of the first things they see is [Chorus 3: Turntan & Beans] and then they go to wikipedia to see if those are their real names but one of you motherfuckers changed the names again so it’s “Pineapple Luppen” and “Succ Zutton” and maybe even “FUCKDRUMS MCMIKE” so then they go on twitter to follow them and jake’s twitter name is “Jimmy Baseball” and whistler’s is “danny football” and in the next 75 hours zach is probably gonna be “Billy Basketball” and nathan is fucking dead and not to mention that before ALL of this, you have to already know that their name is HIPPO CAMPUS first which REALLY DOESN’T HELP ANYTHING AT ALL

Same night in 2013, I recorded my first video of @thehalocline. The beginnings of a song called, “Fish Eye” - never released in any form. Not sure if anyone but a couple people have even seen this, including the boys.  I think @brotherkenzie looks pretty pleased with the sound.

i was ABOUT to say “this sounds absolutely disgusting and im so relieved to say i have no clue what youre talking about” but unfortunately i looked for the picture in my zach folder anyway and i found the exact one youre talking about

(they obvi arent his glasses either so along with the dumb face and the angle, this man looks unrecognizable)
