"Thank you for the help! I don't know what I am going to do without my kids :(" Sadly my trip has come to an unexpected end.. Saying goodbye to the kids was by far the hardest thing I have had to do since I got here. I will miss them and my Spanish family so much! But on the bright side, I get to see MY family and all of my Canadian friends. However, I am NOT happy about leaving the sun and coming home to snow. See you soooon Canada!

Goodbyes suck

It is unbelievable how close you can get to someone in such a short period of time. Having a best friend soon to be miles and miles away is the greatest gift yet the most horrible curse.

Here is a conversation from the other day..

Cleaning lady: So when do you go back to Canada

Me: I am done work here at the end of May then am traveling during June and go back the beginning of July

Pol: BUT JENNA! WHY??

Me: Because my mommy and daddy are there and I miss them

Pol. But, But, whyyy?

Me: I have to go to my school in Canada

Pol: No Jenna, Why?? It's too far! You can't go

I don't know how I am ever going to leave my loves! :(

Soooo it seems like I bring the snow with me everywhere I go. EVEN BARCELONA!

It only makes sense that my first time snowshoeing up a mountain is in Spain..

Hola, Bonjour!

I took my week of holidays and my friend Kayla came to Barcelona for a week and we went to Paris for a couple days. The trip went by way to fast especially the days in Paris! But we were able to see the Moulin Rouge and actually go to a show as well as visit the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. IT WAS SO COLD IN PARIS! And not like normal mountain cold.. it was icy death cold. And as an added bonus, they over booked the hostel so we got transferred to a 3 star hotel for the same price!!!I don't know how I am going to return to Canadian winters.. It was also so weird and quite without kids for 10 days. Needless to say, I was sad to leave but thrilled to return to my loves.

Adios Ipad..

I do not know how many people told me to be careful with my bags in Barcelona but I still managed to get my Ipad stolen out of my purse! :( I am quite sad but thankfully I still have my passport and money!

Moral of the story, WATCH YOUR STUFF.
