An update from my post a few days ago about the stolen artwork…

The guy who was selling stickers on etsy that looked veeeeery similar to my work got back to me, He had commissioned someone on fiverr to do them for him and didnt know they were stolen. My friend contacted this new person who is saying they are her own work and she had used the in game character models to do her 2D illustrations.

*sigh*

So that is her fiverr page and the second image is a comparison between Left: Her desgin, Middle: My design & Right: The character model from New Leaf

So if she was using the in game models then; Why are Rovers ears rounded? (all my cat icons have rounded ears, not pointed ones)

The shading under Tom Nook & Mables nose is identical (Mables model doesnt even have shading under her nose)

Mables quills were made more chibi when I did her icon, where they are longer and pointier on her actual model.

So to sum up, the guy from the other day has been very supportive and sympathetic about the situation, the new person is claiming she didnt copy and i am still stressed and sad!
