A Frosty Premiere Premiering Next Week!

The city is getting ready for the Chillhop Essentials Winter 2022 premiere on December 1 at 5pm CET. For Chillville’s residents, the appointment for the exclusive screening will be at the Midtown Theater, where big screens are being set up as we write! If you live outside of the metropolis, it'll be streamed on YouTube. Either way, now's the time to set a reminder.

Winter's Coming to Town

With snowblowers and shovels already backordered due to the impending Winter season, Chillville locals are getting creative. "I hired a few sled dogs to pave the road and clear my roof," said beloved resident Janidog. "They were barking and drooling all over the place, but they did a great job."

The first snow covered the streets of Chillville this week, and we know what this means: Winter is close. Local Resident Views First Snowfall

A Chillville resident has enjoyed the first snowfall of the season so much that they are currently livestreaming the exciting experience from their metropolitan apartment. Calling it Chillhop Essentials Winter Radio, it appears to only be available for a limited-time.

A blizzard is expected to cover the streets of Chillville

After enjoying a rainy but mild (and quiet) Fall, Chillville residents are preparing to connect with loved ones for a fun-filled new season. Skating and sledding shops have already had to restock many of their items. "Winter’s coming!" a local gopher screamed, waiting in line for a new coat.

Halloween has arrived in Chillville! Pumpkins, skeletons, and ghosts have invaded the streets of our beloved city, and a spooky atmosphere is all around. The main attraction this year is the Haunted House on Scream Lane, where a congregation of residents in costumes has been forming from the early hours of this evening to visit one of the most terrifying houses in town.

When approached by one of the Essential Times reporters, Boney the Skeleton said:

Difficult to understand what that meant, but we’re indeed excited for how the community is responding to this ghostly event, please proceed with caution.

Today’s the day! The long awaited first showing of Chillhop Essentials Fall 2022 is finally here. “We thought the city cinema would best fit the fall vibes,” one of the organizers stated, “it's super cozy, plus there will be blankets and warm drinks too, so that Chilvillers can fully relax while watching the special screening.”

Breakdancing competition ends in cat fight

Local watering hole The Viper Den held its annual breakdancing competition last night. The legendary event featured dozens of the most talented critters around. Anyone flexible enough to strut their stuff danced along as the aerobic rattlesnakes went home with the gold - for the fifth time in as many years.

It wasn't all fun and games though, as a group of leopards took the silver medal, much to the dismay of the crowd, as the judge had seemingly confused the leopards for the cheetahs. The feline fight took to the streets and chaos ensued. Since then, the Viper Den has retracted the Silver medals for this year.

Chillville brimmed with tourists this summer, with the Essentials Museum being one of the city’s top attractions! The board of tourism is now working on a new city map - with new hotspots being added regularly - for the upcoming season, to encourage tourism to continue in the cooler months too. The map is already available on the Internets.
