Lately I have been working on my illustration chops. This is an illustration for a blog post titled “To React or Not to React,” an article discussing the recent excitement in the world of web-development around the javascript library React. The illustration (like the title) is a play on Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

It puts my monitor at eye level, and allows me to sit up straight at my desk. It's amazing what a little sanding and dark walnut stain does to cheap ply.
Last minute, inauthentic Mint Juleps for derby day. (at Jefferson Park)

10 minute doodle. Started with a quick shape for the head, and refined from there.
