Fun fact: In Gen 1, there was only one dragon type move, Dragon Rage, which is a set damage move, meaning that it can only do a certain amount of damage no matter what. this means that Dragon's self weakness was pointless in Gen 1.

for reference, that is the same power as TACKLE. I don't know the math, but there is probably a scenario where a Magikarp using Tackle could do more damage than a Gyarados using Dragon Rage.

one time, when I was living alone, I tried to do the "Put the clean laundry on the bed so I have to put it away before I can sleep" thing. But by the time I was ready for bed, I was so tired that I decided to just sleep on the couch instead. It was so uncomfortable, that I woke up, put the laundry away, and got in bed. At which point, I then WOKE UP FOR REAL, then put away the laundry and went to bed.
