Esme knew that Ethan knew her better than most people. After everything they'd been through, it was nearly impossible for him not to. "A refresher would do me some good, that's for sure." Esme said as she knew that she watched so many movies that it was hard to keep up with the details. "I promise to provide snacks."

Ethan nodded in agreement, not minding watching the first movie again as it had been a while since he'd seen it. "Sounds good to me." He told her, before a small smile shaped on his lips. "Snacks is mandatory." He stated, "But the kind of snacks that will be provided will determine whether or not I'll be there." He teased with a soft chuckle.

"You love the ego." Colton said as he felt that it was all part of his charm. He happened to know that Verity enjoyed him a great deal. It was not something that she'd ever been good at hiding. "Oh wow, that almost sounded like a compliment. I think you're getting soft."

Verity chuckled warmly, "I think the key word there is almost." She smirked back at him. "Me? Soft?" She scoffed again, shaking her head dramatically as if he had not just called her out on what she exactly was becoming. "We can't let that happen. Who else is going to keep you in check?" She teased him before giving his shoulder a small shove.

Ethan nodded, “It will be over before you know it.” He tried to reassure her, but he remembered it being hard from the little he’d done. “Alright..” He nodded, “That works for me I guess.” He told her with a small smile. “I was thinking maybe be new inside out 2 movie. I heard it’s good.” He shrugged, the first thing coming to mind. @eleganceashton

"You know me, I just stress myself out about things." Esme replied as she knew that Ethan had seen her in some of her worse moments. She just couldn't seem to control herself when it came to overthinking. Esme was just thankful that her and Ethan were able to give each other a lot of patience. "I've been hoping to see that one. The reviews are all pretty good."

Ethan nodded, “Yeah I noted that too.” He agreed regarding the reviews as he’d only seen a couple but it had been enough to convince him to want to watch it. “Maybe we would catch the first one beforehand? As a refresher in a way?”

“Right..” Verity stated with a small nod if her head, not exactly sure what that meant, but she also wasn’t looking to push her luck, so she let the subject rest. “And I enjoy you, most of the time.” She said before breaking out into a chuckle. “I’m just glad we get to hang out again.” She added, because she had missed it a great deal. @eleganceashton

"You enjoy me all of the time. I am onto you." Colton replied as he was used to Verity's playful jabs at this point. He also just knew not to believe most of them. There was a comfortable rhythm between them at this point that Colton never could have imagined when they'd first met. "I am sorry to say you are stuck with me now."

Verity raised her shoulders into a small shrug, “If that is what it takes to feed that big ego of yours, sure Sparks.” She quipped back with a playful wink. A small smile took shape on her lips, “Yeah?” She asked, “Is that a promise?” She added out of curiosity, “Because that doesn’t sound like the worst thing in the world.”

Verity nodded her head slightly, “And do you think that is enough?” She asked him curiously, “Long term, I mean?” Maybe this wasn’t the best time or place for a conversation like this, but the blonde felt like she needed to know where all of this was headed before she went and got even more invested into whatever it was that they were. “And yeah.. I like to think I’m particularly fun in bed if not so much outside of ot.” She added jokingly with a laugh.

"I think it is exactly what I need." Colton admitted to her as he needed someone to keep him grounded. The last couple years of Colton's life hadn't been easy. He felt that ever since he'd moved back to Ashton the world had been raining down on him. But Colton couldn't forget the way that Verity had been there for him during some of his darkest times. The woman had been a comfort to him in her own way, even if he hadn't voiced it as much as he should have. "I enjoy you all the time. You keep me on my toes."

“At least then you’ll be able to correct it in time and not worry more about it.” He tired to encourage with a smile. “Yeah I think there is a few new releases out. But worst case scenario, there is always Netflix or Prime.” Which were fairly decent these days in his opinion.

"I'll be happy when this semester is over." Esme admitted as she was feeling a bit stressed about her school work. College was proving to be harder than high school had been. Esme just wanted a bit of a break from everything. "We can do whatever you think is best." She told him with a small smile. Esme treated that Ethan would make the best choice because she trusted him entirely.

Harlow stepped outside from having spent majority of her day in the library and looked around. The cherry blossoms were starting to bloom, and she inhaled the fresh air that reminded her more of spring than winter. "Smells like spring is on its way.." She stated, mostly to herself, but she also said it loud enough so anyone close by could hear it.

Rosemary was on her way home from a meeting when she cut across the street towards her car. She heard the other woman speak and nodded her head at her. "And it couldn't be at a better time honestly. There is something so refreshing about this time of year." Rosemary said as she felt Spring was a new beginning.

Harlow jumped slightly before exhaling a small chuckle under her breath, “Absolutely!” She agreed, “Though I am sure the weather wil tease is for a bit until it settles and starts getting warmer.

Sebastian was headed to work, nicely wrapped into his thick winter clothing as the mornings were still chilly, despite the weather being on the mend. He hugged a warm breath into his hands, rubbing them together before a voice broke through the air, capturing his attention. "Oh um--" He looked over his shoulder, "It is over that way. The first to your left, then straight on until you see a fancy building that says mayors office." He said with a small chuckle. "But it's still a little early. I don't think they open for another hour or so."

Minh nodded her head as she tried to mentally write down what the man had said. She wanted to be completely certain that she wouldn't get things wrong. "Okay, so it is a pretty hard building to miss then? That is good to know." Minh told him as she was sure that she'd be able to find the building if it was fancy. Those sort of buildings usually were pretty eye-catching. "I don't need to go there right now. I just needed to make sure I was able to find it."

“Yeah should be.” Seb stated, “Its the fancies one looking around here, and the letters on it is pretty hard to miss.” At least in his opinion. “Ah right..” He had added with a nod, “Well if you are looking for a place to wait, you can always grab a table at my work to avoid the cold.”

Verity smiled again, perhaps slightly wider this time around. “I guess I do..” She told him with a small nod. “Can’t say I always understand why though.” She chuckled. “We are very different in a lot of ways and I am usually a handful to deal with a lot of the time..” Which he was all aware of by now, but for some reason he had stuck around. Though she deep down felt a little on edge that he might leave her again at any moment once he grew tired of her. Most people always did.

"You're blunt and you call me out on my shit." Colton said with a small shrug. Verity had never been one to sugarcoat or to lie to him to not offend him. It was something that Colton valued because a lot of people were fake around him. He never had to feel like that was the case when it came to her. "You also happen to be pretty fun to hangout with, both in and out of bed." Colton added as he didn't want things to be too serious.

It had helped him in high school at least, and if he had pursued college he would likely have done the same. "Okay, great--" He smiled, "It's um.. A date." Words he hadn't imagined he'd ever be using again, but there they were. He chuckled softly, "I mean, we can have a look to see what is on at the cinema. If not, I am sure we can watch one at either of ours place, if you'd like?"

Esme nodded her head at Ethan's words. She knew that she often overthought things and it was something that she was trying hard to work on. "I am sure that he'll tell me it is fine, and maybe just pick out a few things to change." Esme replied as she took her schooling very seriously. "I feel like it shouldn't be too hard to find something." Esme replied as she didn't want him to worry too much about it. "But you are right, worst case we can just find something on Netflix."

"Oh definitely. I feel like we can flirt our way into anything we want." Alexandria replied with a wink. They were both attractive women, there was no denying that fact. It was something Alix would take full advantage of. "It's probably worth it no matter what the cost is, to be completely fair."

Diana chuckled, “I think so too. We can be rather persuasive if we want to be.” She winked back teasingly at her friend. “Especially after the things we have had to endure over the last few months.”she sighed as their job was very tiring.

“Clearly..” Trevor uttered just below a breath, sighing ever so slightly as he was still beating himself up about everything that hand unfolded. His lips twitched slightly into a smile at her statement, “I won’t.” He said, but he would take necessary action if it came down to it and there was no other way out.

“I am hoping that we can build enough evidence against him to make him go away.” Mia replied as surely stalking someone over state lines must leave some sort of trail. Not to mention Mia knew that Trevor’s co-workers would do whatever they could in order to help Trevor, which meant in turn help her.

“Did you file any reports when you were in New York?” He asked her out of curiosity, as it could help strengthen their case. “If not, I might still give my old friend up there a call to ask what else they might have on him.”

Dominic chuckled a little under his breath, “I mean to be fair, we have had to recuse a lady or two who got stuck up there with their cat.” He shrugged, as it wasn’t unheard of. He’d even experienced himself first hand. “It sure does.” He nodded, hands traveling to bury themselves in the pocket of his trousers as they continued to walk towards her place.

“I am not even going to pretend to be shocked about that.” Harper said as she knew that people around here did bizarre things. She had grown used to the weird sense of normality that certain things had here in Ashton. “What is most surprising is that it has only happened a time or two.”

Dominic shrugged, “At least on my watch.” He said, but he did tend to work the later shifts compared to his colleagues who had families and such to help take care of. “I have seen a lot of car accidents and such though.” He added as they tended to get called out for the worst once.

Minh had decided to move to town for an opportunity that she couldn't turn down. She'd heard through an old friend that the local bakery was for sale, and while the money was going to be tight, she'd taken the plunge and decided to buy it. However, now Minh found herself wandering the unfamiliar streets of a town she knew nothing about. She waved down the first person that she could find. "Excuse me, can you tell me where I can find the mayor's office?" Minh asked as she had a meeting in the morning and she wanted to know how to get there so she wouldn't be late. Minh needed so sign some official papers before she was allowed to open up her bakery ( @eternalashton || Open )

"At this point I think you just need to get used to the fact that I value and trust your opinion and like being around you."
