Say what you want about Parisians celebrating Gabriel for killing Gabriel or whatever, but honestly whenever I think about the fact that Gabriel died with the last memory of his son being Adrien sobbing and crying and pleading “mom would hate what you’re doing” and desperately trying to get away from him, and his last memory with Nathalie was of her literally attempting to murder him with a crossbow, I feel soooooooo good.

He died knowing the only two living people he had a semblance of care for despised him.

Preparing to watch the ATLA finale again

Love Aang vs Ozai and it's iconic but The Last Agni Kai just hits different every time I watch it because it's not an epic or heroic, it's a tragedy, brother and sister fighting each other, and it doesn't really have a happy, satisfying ending unlike Aang vs Ozai. At the end I just feel sad for Azula because she was just another victim of her father who didn't have anyone to put her on the right path like Zuko did.

One of those things that made Grisha relatively novel concept is that their powers are vital part of them. They need to summon to be healthy, that’s why they don’t get ill, or why they live longer than muggles. That’s also what makes them so easily exploitable. It’s almost effortless to spot Grisha in hiding, to overpower them if they don’t practice, to kill or disect them.

The show decided to ignore that. Casual viewer doesn’t see why are Grisha oppressed, when they obviously have physical power. They can see nice clothes of Second Army, hear Malyen’s bigotry and think it justified. They don’t see Alina dying at the begining, nor withering away while she’s on the run…
