I like it when Whumpee's hands are tied in a way that leaves their stomach open and vulnerable, unable to cover up, unable to curl after a punch.

Behind their back. Above their head. Spread to the sides.

All they can do is clench their teeth and groan.

really specific pregnancy tropes i love:

huge overdue and high risk pregnancy where the parent was warned that they should be induced or have a c-section but they refused and now they have to give birth at home without any medical help

a small and feisty character getting pregnant with a huge baby, especially if their partner isn't human making it even bigger

a doctor or other medical professional going into labor with complete confidence that they have everything under control but slowly losing control until they're breaking down sobbing and begging for it to be over

pregnancy denial where the person is sure they aren't pregnant until they go into labor but it's too late to get any help and they don't know how to give birth so every contraction terrifies them and they aren't sure what to do when they feel the massive baby get stuck

pregnancy with a lot of movement so that the parent is warn and exhausted the whole time and then has to beg the baby to calm down as it struggles through their birth canal

surprise twin births where the parent is convinced that it's just one large baby so they put everything they can into pushing through the agonizing birth but after their spent they realize the baby they pushed out is normal sized and the other twin is much, much bigger

Round, hard, rumbly bellies stuffed with soooo much food + very obviously making a big bump under the person's otherwise well-fitting shirt.

So much so that they have to waddle, even if (especially if) they're also not very heavy everywhere else, so you know its solely the weight and discomfort of what's in their stomach right now thats weighing them down and making their gut bulge forward.

Aaaand they're embarrassed, limply rubbing their tummy, and helplessly burping

This was supposed to be a practice sketch and I ahve now worked on it for a while. and its still ass (I AM TOO LAZY TO GO BACK NOWWWW) but any way more Grey and Jovi

First, he lands on his ass.. Jovi had just used the spell to trigger last night's remnants.

Then, back at the dorm, they settle in for a long while once Grey's water breaks. Lastly....

The birth is quickly finished with a swift transformation of life into a gem. The checks happen after, and the result isn't always one they were expecting. (Change of pants color was because I was never planning on arranging them as a story! but wow, look at it now!) Should write the episode.... (short)
