“I wouldn’t call it solitude, seeing as I was stuck with you.” Slade told him, “And you were the only good thing about it.” He could be just about as rough as he wanted with Ethan, the other omega serving it back. He wasn’t sure why Ethan annoyed him less than the others, especially since he was mouthy but it just happened to work that way, apparently.
“You knew what I meant.” He waved a hand around, some what of a smile spreading over his features at Slade’s next words. “So being stuck with me wasn’t exactly horrible, hm? My ex-wife used to say I drove her crazy, so I drove her off of a cliff, literally.” There was truth behind his words, but he shrugged his shoulders. “Now you gonna stop pissing people off so you don’t end up behind bars with me again?”
