Why is Marketing so Important for Web-Design?
What is web design?
“Web design is the process of planning and creating a website. Text, images, digital media and interactive elements are shaped by the web designer to produce the page seen on the web browser. Web designers utilize markup language, most notably HTML for structure and CSS for presentation to develop pages that can be read by web browsers.”
Why is Marketing so important for web-design?
Marketing is so important because it’s the only way that business can get there name out in the world.
Marketing - The conceptualization and delivery of customer satisfaction
Upstream marketing activities – understanding, selecting, describing target markets, and creating a product or service to meet the needs of those target markets
Downstream marketing activities – communicating a product or service concept to the chosen target market and providing customer satisfaction in the process by delivering that product or service
Customer as Monarch, or marketing concept – a philosophy of doing business in which the organization places utmost importance on delivering customer satisfaction, meeting organizational goals, and outperforming the competition while integrating all marketing activities.
It is very important to use marketing either online marketing or marketing through traditional channel or Telemarketing.
Telemarketing is vey important type of marketing because telemarketing enables hundreds or thousands of potential or existing customers to be reached per day.

Accessibility, Usability, Sustainability
Accessibility is a Web Standard similar to XHTML and CSS. It is can mean that people with disabilities.
Usability is matter of designing to account fir user behaviors. It is also about conscious actions that a user can take a web page or website. Is really means the interface’s ease of use methods for improving ease of use.
Sustainability keep your website up to date!
I did this picture on photo shop. Pretty awesome.
Color
Color is extremely important on a web page. Over all people have different meanings on different colors. But to create an appropriate web page people must use colors that are bright and bold. Different colors mean different things throughout the world.
Red can be seen as passion, fire, aggression, and violence. In other cultures though Red can be seen as stop or forbidden actions.
Yellow for example can be portrayed as “brightness, illumination, illness, cowardice. Some yellows can symbolize the precious metal - gold - and are universally valued.”
Colors also have meaning behind them. People have to be careful on what colors they use on there website. Colors are more then making things pretty.

CSS’s relationship to XHTML is like are a team. Someone makes a website. Then the team is there to clean them up.

Twins??
HTML and XHTML use a similar syntax: tags, elements and everything. XHTML is the cleaner version of HTML.
trouble learning.....
XHTML stands for EXtensible HyperText Markup Language. It is almost identical to HTML 4.01. XHTML is a stricter and cleaner version of HTML.
XHTML is use for websites because is the next generation of Web pages. It is what controls whatever website people are on.
XHTML .... and websites
@font-face { font-family: "Cambria"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }a:link, span.MsoHyperlink { color: blue; text-decoration: underline; }a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed { color: purple; text-decoration: underline; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; }
XHTML is a language that does nothing but describe the structure of writing and the location. Is it a content the be described structurally, using language that is separate from visual presentation and design. XHTML is changeling to write because we are use to thinking about the structure of writing. I have learned a lot form chapter nine because before reading this I did not know anything about website lingo. I am very excited to make my own website page and try out everything I need.
