If you don’t embrace your weirdness then why would the world? Creative people are often the weirdest people. But it’s a good weird.

Are you kidding? I’d post it on Facebook! Just to see my family back home shit enough bricks to build a 3-story house. You’re right, it is probably jealousy. Though, a few of my friends from high school ended up going to film school in Vancouver Canada, don’t want to give the impression that everyone was totally negative.

Yes, I fell for it, because I don’t automatically assume that I shouldn’t trust that the toilet would suddenly not be as it always is, every other day of the year.

Nope, can’t say I do. I like to avoid all people who enjoy “pranks”, which are just an excuse to be cruel to people, under the guise of being “funny”.

I pretty much figure everything is out to embarrass or humiliate me every day. That’s how you deal with it, constant vigilance. You won’t fall for a plastic wrapped toilet on April Fool’s day if you’re checking every time you pee every day to make sure something like that isn’t happening.

I guess you’re right, though I’m pretty sure most people see me as that weird freshman kid. And I don’t know about meeting someone, that seems like kind of a cop out. Gotta see it in yourself and all that stuff, right?

Oh I don’t know about that, I had a friend in high school and she had never seen a single Star Wars movie and I could make references about it all day long and it all just went right over her head.

Don’t worry about it, I do it too. I’ll endlessly talk on and on, so its refreshing to know I’m not alone in that. Well of course, I mean, think about Jaws without that theme song, probably now as creepy.

It does! Disney’s an interesting phenomenon. That’s the goal at least for after graduation, along with thousands of other people who want to be musicians. I know its all about being in the right place at the right time, it just takes one person to hear your music and go, that will sell. So hopefully. I’m just laughing glad to know I’m not the whole one who babbles at random.

That is very true. Although understanding that reference just means you haven’t been living under a rock your whole life, I think.

Random babbling is a terrible habit of mine. Hey! Who knows! Maybe we will be able to help each other out one day. Films are made better by awesome music, and sometimes music is made more awesome by having great visuals paired with it. The arts are all symbiotic, after all.

You might get dumped off if that happens. But yeah singing, even loudly and off key, is always appreciated. I mean you should always have fun with it. And no worries, Disney is my first love and my go to when I’m out. Plus the top forty, try to play everyone else’s latest hits, because you know people know that. Then I think we have plans to hang out on Friday night!

Oh! I’ll definitely be going. It seems like fun, and way less expensive than seeing it on Broadway. Well, about as fun as something sad can be. But I like sad movies and stuff. I haven’t seen the movie version, either, which is odd for me, so I’ll be going in totally fresh.

We’re cool, man. Painting, specifically, although I can do anything. Except for digital. Fuck digital art. Just because you’re handy with a mouse you’re not suddenly an artist. Anything you name, I can do; and that’s not me being big-headed. I’m actually amazing.

Hey man, CG animation in movies are a kind of digital art, and you cannot say that those don’t take talent. Like it can make the rest of the people lazy, relying on the CGI to do the storytelling for them but the effects themselves require skill and talent. Oh really, anything?

i don’t know, seems like a lot of the other students are like that too. Indie drama snobs who don’t see the value in something if it’s popular. What kinds of movies do I want to make? All of them. I want to make dramas and romances and horror and comedy. I want to write my own scripts and direct them. Be the guiding force behind them.

Alright, let’s just refrain from any eye stabbing. However terrible this class is, it’s not worth going blind over or having to clean blood stains out of the carpet. And hey, if you’re ever having a hard time falling asleep, you know what book to grab. A solution for those sleepless nights that are sure to be coming over the course of your college stay.
