it's canon that Lucifer came to people in the form of those they loved (romantically) and lost.

So he came to Nick as his dead wife.

To Sam as his dead girlfriend.

To Vince as his dead girlfriend.

And to Dean as ... Cas.

last three seasons spn are crazy. its just dean being borderline suicidal while sam tries to fix it by basically dangling his keys at him and going : “dean look! cowboys!” “dean look! strip club!” “dean look! haunted action figure.”

Meanwhile castiel is like i see that dean is suicidal, this is clearly my fault so i will remedy this by dying.

So Supernatural did not introduce Abel, the Biblical brother, but created a whole new character, Colette, the love of Cain's life and paralleled her with Cas

And they did not introduce Biblical Eve, but created a whole new character, Serafina, an ANGEL, the love of Adam's life. And they showed them, a human and an angel, in a loving ROMANTIC relationship

And in Despair, the episode in which Cas confessed his love to Dean, they showed us Charlie losing the woman she loved.

Sam losing the woman he loved.

And Dean losing ... Cas.

It's as if, AS IF, the show was trying to tell us something?????

I can't believe that there are people out there who don't see Supernatural as a love story between a man and an angel. Like, how embarrassing.

People always talk about Dean’s “I’d rather have you, cursed or not” but I don’t think we talk enough about the next half a minute of Dean trying and failing to act normal when Cas smiles softly at him because they finally made up, tells him he’ll go with him and he’ll do his best, and then shyly asks him about the plan. Like he literally cannot for the life of him contain his smile that he had to hide his face and LOOK AWAY (several times!) throughout their whole conversation, because Cas was being so fucking adorable.
